Excellent Care Giver
I have been going to Dr. Karen Schick and her office for 31 years and been through 4 pregnancies and have found only the best consideration and professionalism. I can only be grateful that she excels in her field as a physician and how she trains those who represent her practice.

My visit with Dr. Schick was hands down the worst provider experience I have ever had. She clearly did not read the answers I provided on the forms, insinuated I have anxiety, after I explained that I get very nervous at doctors visits, and immediately tried to pressure me into switching my prescription (which I have been on for 10 years, so clearly something is working!) without even asking what my impetus was for pursuing that option, or if I was happy with it. She was extremely judgmental and condescending. No wonder she is accepting new patients, why anyone continues to see her is beyond fathomable. Save yourself the time and emotional labor of dealing with her abysmal bedside manner and visit a different provider.

I received the dreaded letter from my gynecologist that no woman wants to get in the mail, "I am retiring". Ugh, but someone from my PC's office recommended Dr. Schick. I went yesterday and she and her staff are wonderful. She asked pertinent, constructive and practical questions. Very thorough. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

I made an appointment to follow up with Dr. Schick. When I went in the nurse was irritated I was even there. Dr. Schick came in and was nothing but rude. I expressed my concerns crying, worried I may have cancer she didn't even look at me, touched me or order any tests to see what was going on. She said rudely that I shouldn't be concerned and I'm fine and I'm over reacting. She then said "Well now 3 doctors have told you that nothing is wrong with you, I'm not sure what you want me to do."
