Dr. Kashif Ahmed, MD

I have been rescheduled three times by IU Health stating that they had me scheduled for the wrong provider. So after waiting for four months for an appointment with the IU Health provider to rule out cancer. But two days before the appointment that was supposed to be in person. I get a call stating they were doing a phone consult. I'm thinking for a new patient you're going to review everything and determine what to do over the phone. It's been 3 weeks, after phone consult and no appointment for a biopsy. I can see why patients can die from cancer because it takes so long for the doctors to get their stuff together. My recommendation don't use IU Health because they will reschedule your appointment three times and finally tell you they found the right doctor. In my life I'm never heard of a provider doing a phone consult for new patient.

I have gone to him for a couple of years. I kept going to him hoping he would finally start listening, but he didn't! It just seemed like only his opinion counted! So, now I am with someone that does listen and has put me on a better medication for me, which is what I wanted Ahmed to consider! Dr Ahmed just doesn't seem to care as much as he should! I know my condition isn't as bad as others, but I just want to keep it from getting worse!

Had three procedures done. No problems. Not as bad as you think. Dr Ahmed was Great.
