MAJOR DELAY IN CARE
Over the past year I experienced 3 separate occasions where I had a major delay in care directly caused by this facility. I am diabetic and on 3 separate occasion to go weeks and even a span of 3 months going without my oral diabetic medications. They ignored my first request for medication refill for 5 weeks at the beginning of year where I was only able to get help after speaking with a receptionist who was willing to help instead of just sending me to the nurse voice-mail that would never be returned. Then starting in October all the way into January I was without my medications awaiting a PA I requested several times to even be initiated. When i spoke with office supervisor she apologized profusely and got pa started and approved same day. Then when my insurance changed again come February 1st the same thing began to happen. Phone calls, portal messages and even direct message complaint ignored by the facility. This is unacceptable.

Dr. Latif and his staff are very caring and professional. I had been seeing another endocrinologist for years and Dr. Latif is far and away the superior MD. My condition improved for the first time ever under his care. The lab is right there in his office and the lab techs are great. When I needed my results, they were easily obtained at the front desk.

Lacks Medical Professionalism
I went to the office on 11/15/22 to get lab work and I called and can never get anyone to answer the phones at the office. I got in my car and drove to the office on 11/18/22 to get the la results and was told by the office staff that the Dr. Latif had not signed my lab results and myself nor another doctor could retrieve the information. The staff also stated to me that the doctor was busy getting ready for his 5K Sugar Run and they was not going to disturb him for lab results. They went to the back and got the phlebotomist whom they told me was the nurse of Dr. Latif to explain to me when he reads the labs he will get back to me. Well, its now 11/30/22 and still no labs, results, or calls from the doctor or his staff. Its a shame you always have to text for an appointment, text for the nurse. But when you walk in the office everyone is just laughing and talking and not answering phone calls.

As a patient of more than 5 years, we have never been able to call anyone at this office and get an answer. Every call is to leave a message or send a text. Neither is answered in less than a week. Ever. Need a refill? Ask for it at the original appointment or you’ll run out before you can get someone to give you an appointment. Every time I go to an appointment, half the people there leave angry due to not being notified of a change in time or cancellation of appointment. Latif is great; if you can ever get to speak with him or anyone who can help. It is worse than any provider I’ve ever encountered.

I have seen Dr Latif on many appt. he was my doctor from 1999 til 2013. He always was a caring and positive doctor. Went above and beyond for me. The sad thing is the staff. They are rude,Do not give the doctor messages. And just don’t seem to care about the patients. But Dr Latif is a excellent Doctor. I moved away in 2013. That is the only reason I don’t see him anymore. I wish him and his family all the best.

Staff are not professional. They encourage making appt 6 months in advance, but when appt confirmed staff have wrong date. Dr. Latif has cancelled multiple appt the day before the appt. extremely unprofessional! I can’t say he’s a good doctor because if he cared he would hire better staff.

Dr. Latif is an excellent, knowledgable, caring physician. The problem is not with Dr. Latif, his staff. They routinely do not return phone calls to patients, pharmacies, or even other physicians. Patient care is at the bottom of their priority list. Trying to get medications sorted out or filled on a timely basis is almost impossible. This is a universal problem with his office that has been going on for YEARS, they are well aware of it and do nothing to fix it. Something needs to be done.

Told to arrive 30 minutes early for appt. Did, office closed until my appt time. Not getting started off right for 1st appt. Thank goodness I printed & filled out all my new patient docs before arriving. Office has a strict 15 minutes rule, arrive late 15 minutes +, need to reschedule. My time is valuable too. Too bad I wasn't told. Disappointed going in.

It is highly unlikely I will be recommending Dr. Latif to anyone. I am not sure of his ability as in almost 3 years, I have never met him. In fact, this photo is the first time I've seen his face. I have always been seen by the nurse practitioner. The appointment staff and the nurses staff are great. However, I feel I am worth more than a lab rat being prescribed pills. I'll be finding another doctor.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Completely unprofessional with scheduling. TWO scheduled appointments were canceled the DAY BEFORE the appointment, with rescheduled dates over a month after. Don't waste your time.

I would highly recommend Dr. Latif to anyone who suffers from hypothyroidism and post-menopausal hormone depletion. He was very thorough and I am feeling better. This is the second Endocrinologist I have been too. He took the time to listen to my complaints, took a very thorough history, took the appropriate tests and I'm feeling more positive about my health. The only thing I found puzzling was their are a lot of staff at the facility but in my opinion they are too individualized.
