terrifying
This dr was short tempered, rude, and said things that no other dr of mine agreed with. I would not go back to her or Chesapeake Urology (which used to be great) again. Furthermore, you now go to a call center in the Philippines which is a huge nuisance and waste of time for the patient.

horrible experience
After acquiring sepsis from an undetected UTI i found myself in the ICU and then general ward at GBMC for over 2 months. While in hospital I came under the care of Dr. Johnson and found myself with an indwelling catheter. I had trouble (after 2 months) voiding my bladder on my own during 2 or 3 separate "voiding trials". Dr. Johnson performed one other bladder study and proclaimed that I would have to continue with the indwelling catheter for the rest of my life.... despite the fact that it was incredible painful and was causing me to bleed blood red into my urine on a daily basis. She never once physically examined the catheter, she never once came closer to me than about 5 feet. She was generally short and irritable any time I asked for clarification as to why she wouldnt even discuss any other care plans. When I went to Hopkins for a 2nd opinion the Dr immediately seemed, well, horrified... started me on self cathing and I am now over a year later peeing on my own and doing fine

I was referred to Dr. Johnson when I moved here from another State. I have been very happy with her expertise. She allows me sufficient time in speaking with me about my problems. She is a very caring doctor. Wait time is no longer then 15 minutes. The office staff is very likeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson. I see her in the Owings Mills' office.

Dr. Johnson is a friendly female urologist which I wanted. She does take time to listen to me other times not so much about what is going on with me and my urinary problems. The office staff is pleasant and getting appointments that I want are pretty easy. The MA's are a different story.theyre nice to me but then give looks between each other & that's a bit degrading ,they think I don't see it. The wait time is absurd, time with the Dr and any procedure is 15 mins, I'm there 1.5-2 hours each X.

I would recommend this doctor, but not the office. Long waits, preoccupied office staff. Didn't answer phone call message for medical question.
