Dr. Volk has seen me several times and is always pleasant and professional and explanatory. My treatment has been helpful, however, I must say my particular difficulties limit the success of any procedure. Most of us must realize that once we have been referred to a surgeon or chronic pain Doctor our path to a complete resolution will be very difficult. I will when necessary return to Dr Volk with great confidence.

Dr. Volk is amazing and very thorough. She did an injection in my right knee and the pain instantly stopped.. then did a lower back injection and instant relief. She has a great bed side manner and explains everything she is doing. She is very caring. A+ in my book.

One of the best Ive seen.
I saw Dr Volk today. She had prepared for the visit, was informative, listened and was very compassionate. She is willing to help unravel a very difficult medical history. She seemed very down to earth and there as a caregiver as opposed to a business venture. This is in stark contrast to Tulsa “pain specialists” who performed no examination and only wanted to talk about spinal cord stimulators from day one. One “specialist” never even reviewed my MRI or list of reports I compiled. My first impression of Dr Volk was extremely positive.

Excellent doctor
Recently had a epidural shot in my back for pain. Dr. Volk was very experienced, friendly and discussed my issues. I was nervous it would be painful, but the procedure was very comfortable, and after three days feel such relief from the pain when walking. I would recommend Dr. Volk to anyone who wants relief from ongoing back issues.

Medial Branch Block
This procedure was to block the pain, but I have been in twice as much pain now than before her injections. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours which caused much distress to my back. I told my surgeon that I would not go back there.

Dr. Volk was unprofessional & did not adequately communicate what she was doing as I was face down having a medial branch block on my cervical area. It was the worst medical procedure of my life. Dr. Volk spent more time chit chatting with her nurse, than explaining what was going on during the procedure. The pain & mobility of my neck was far worse after the procedure than it was before.

Dr Volk helped me to 100%pain free
I’m not sure about the negative reviews but I have only 100% positive review for Dr Volk. I saw her 2 years ago. I was hospitalized for 6 days trying to get neck pain under control. Saw Neurologist Dr Marouk he was awesome. He referred me to Dr Volk in attempt to avoid surgery. Saw Dr Volk 2 times. Second visit she gave me an injection in my neck. My neck and headaches have been nonexistent since that visit. I literally did not get out of her office and all pain was gone. Wish it would work for everyone like this.

Second time was not a charm
Appointment for Friday March 11th 10:15. Snowed, we're an hour away. Called around 7am to reschedule, sent to nurse, left message. No call by 7:45, we left not knowing how long it would take us. 8:15 nurse calls, appt. cancelled. Advised on our way and ask to keep the appt. she put appt. back on the schedule. Arrived about 20 mins before appointment. 10:30-10:45 called in, set in procedure room another 15-20 mins. Dr. and nurse kept coming in and out getting bags (purses) etc. Dr. said something about people cancelling then deciding to come in, didn't know if she was referring to me or not. Started the procedure. Was doing w/o sedation, she was very good first time. This time she really cause some pain. Now have more pain than before injection. Not my first injection, shouldn't be like this. Called referring Dr. waiting on call back. Don't know that I'll use Dr. Volk again.
