My wife had cataracts with emphasis on "HAD" that is Until she met doctor Kenneth Rosenthal the surgery was brief and painless and she could see immediately afterward Before she could not see one foot in front of her. I had to read everything to her and describe what was on TV. So I Googled Ophthalmologist and cataracts found Doctor Kenneth Rosenthal Upon meeting the good doctor though very professional Doctor Rosenthal was kind compassionate truly listened took time to explain all concerns in everyday language. (And had a sense of humor.) We felt like we were speaking to a friend and immediately got the feeling that this man truly cares about you and feels for you. We knew we had come to the right place. Doctor Rosenthal's office décor its atmosphere is comfortable friendly NOT cold or stark or institutionalized as some. As far as wait time there really wasn't any. The staff are professional patient welcoming. courteous downright, friendly and address all your concerns. The staff and doctor are accessible when you call and speak with Rita who is all of the above and then some Berta also. I could go on and on Lord knows I have been known to, but in a nutshell, my wife sees clearly out of the eye and going back for the other. We know we have come to the right place. Would I recommend to a friend ? ABSOLUTELY !!!!

Dr Rosenthal ruined my vision and quality of life!
I went to Dr Rosenthal for a second opinion. I wish to God I never went!!!He recommended cataract surgery when all I needed was eye drops!!! I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and was alone when I agreed to the surgery. Even his secretary Berta looked at my answers about my vision in which I stated NO to every question and asked why was I doing it!!! I was in no condition to make such a life changing decision but Dr Rosenthal took advantage of me. He was clearly in it for the money!!! My original eye dr told me after the fact that I never needed cataract surgery!!!! That’s the tragedy!!Now I am left with balance issues and dizziness!!! This was the worst decision of my life!!! Stay away!!!

Another excellent visit
My visits have always been outstanding! Rita, Allison and Danielle are welcoming, congenial and very thorough in their tasks. Dr. Rosenthal's examination is gentle and thorough, and he provides extensive feedback as well as responding to all questions. He also always seems glad to see me. I feel terrific with this practice.

He told us that my dad would most likely need surgery and that he would call us after he spoke to his other dr - he said he would call the next day. It’s been 2 weeks and we called to followup twice and still no phone call back. Unacceptable!

His procedure caused tremendous complications and now he is stonewalling me by not sending me my records which I’m legally entitled to.

I had cataracts for quite a while. My vision was terrible. I was referred to Dr. Rosenthal by my optometrist. He removed my cataracts using lasers and inserted lenses that gave me perfect distance and reading vision. I wore glasses my whole life and now see perfectly without glasses. I felt I was in the best hands I could have been in and most importantly, the quality of my life improved tremendously. I would highly recommend Dr. Rosenthal.
