Very caring and thoughtful. I left felling well informed. I really felt as though he listened to me and was concerned for my wellbeing

I felt put off. I had serious concerns and was basically told that I was maybe lactose intolerance and that if I had heart burn I should take a Zantac. I made a point to make it known that early colorectal cancer runs in my family. I spent 350 on a lactose test which I never got a call with the results. I ended up calling to ask and they were like “oh it’s here. I don’t know why you weren’t called”. My health is important and I was not treated as if it was to this doctor.

As being diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2005, with multiple colonoscopies/biopsies/CTs/hospitalizations over the years I didn't think it would be that hard to move to a new town and establish care with a GI. I was wrong, He told me "you don't LOOK like you have Crohn's" and wouldn't even entertain the idea that multiple other GI doctors have confirmed it, or schedule me for a routine colonoscopy. Instead, he diagnosed me with gastroparesis with out any diagnostic testing and sent me on my way

Drove to Casper, Wyoming (380 mile round trip) to see Dr. Katz and it was well worth it. He probably saved my life! He suggested an MRI and then a PT scan. The result was a diagnosis of Endometrial Cancer Stage 4. He personally called us as did his staff for followup. He was very caring, conscientious and professional. After others

I would not recommend him to anyone, he is not thorough and is a terrible doctor. He could not diagnose something as simple as a bad gallbladder, when he didn't know what to do he said, just go to the Mayo Clinic and dismissed us. My wife suffered for almost over year and he basically did nothing. She also had C - diff and he did no followup care, which enabled the infection to get so bad it took a 1.5 years and numerous trips to Denver to get rid of it.
