Dr. Khameinei Ali, MD

I came to Phelps on a busy night (so they told me) but I seemed to get a room pretty quickly. Dr. Ali was the only doc on staff and was buzzing around, ER, smiling, and even joking with staff members. Everyone seemed to really like him and respond well to him. A nurse even offered to get him a jug of water. He did this all while popping in and out of rooms, checking on patients, and literally had a full tray of food he was handing out to patients. He got to me under 30 minutes. Regardless, the time didn't matter because he was clearly very busy. He introduced himself to me in a calm but friendly manner and genuinely seemed to be listening to me (or he's a great actor). He made constant contact with his big green eyes and long brown curls. He examined me thoroughly, put in orders quickly and I heard him even tell the nurse so she could get it done quickly. 1 hour later, my tests were back, my pain was gone, and I can say I met a one-of-a kind doctor at Phelps.

One of the best doctors I've ever seen in my life. He is professional, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, kind and knows his job very well. I took my wife to Phelps emergency room who was having an excruciating back pain. Dr. Khameinei first treated her with medication . Afterwards, my wife needed to be seen by a pain specialist urgently. Even though Dr. Khameinei referred us, they made an appointment for 2 weeks later. This date was too far away for us, because my wife had a locked back and she could not walk. Then Dr. Khameinei made a lot of effort for us and we were able to get an appointment for 3 days later. He did not leave us hanging during emergency room nor afterwards. Most importantly, he understood what situation we were in, emphatic and how we felt. Shortly, he is really amazing!! I was very impressed with Dr. Ali’s professionalism and skill. He is a very dedicated and caring doctor.

I cut my hand on a broken glass while washing dishes. Boy was I lucky when I came to Phelps, I was taken care of quickly and with kindness. Dr. Ali was laid back and friendly. He also seemed to know what he was doing, explaining every step along the way.

Dr. Ali was awesome! He has a young, hip attitude and a calm friendly demeanor. He examined my wrist quickly and knew it wasn't broken right away. He even got an X ray to make me feel better. I would come back to Phelps just to see him!

I saw Dr. Ali at Phelps ER last Wednesday and he was absolutely a God send. He was clearly very busy as he was being called overhead multiple times. He was quick yet able to listen to all of my mother's concerns. She felt better soon after the nurse administered the medicine and was out of the ER fairly quickly. I would definitely come back to see him again. Not to mention he isn't harsh on the eyes.

Fantastic Physician and genuinely caring. Saw him at Phelps in the ER and I felt that he was really there for me. I'd go back to Phelps just to see him.

The absolute worst!! No bedside manner. Told my 91 year old mother who had severe stomach pains "We have people dying here. You are not." Absolutely no compassion or bedside manner. An individual like this does not deserve to treat people in a state of emergency. An ER doctor should possess knowledge, bedside manner and compassion for the elderly.

Dr. Ali was a very caring and patient physician. He truly helped me through a difficult time.
