Great Doctor with an inveterate display honesty
Dr. Azimuddin’s candor for straight honest talk. I knew right away that he has a lot of true knowledge in his profession. He answered my questions in such a way as to bring clarity to my thinking and thoughts. This builds credibility and trust. I heard no arrogance in his voice which conveys sincerity. He truly cares about his patients health, wellbeing, and welfare. That’s the kind of Doctor I grew up believing in. I would recommend him to anyone that wants or needs someone who truly understands them and their concerns. He is an exceptional Doctor. Dan his patient.

Dr. Azimuddin saved my life
I'm a 50-year old male with no other significant health problems. I have a great life, rewarding career, wonderful friends and family, but a year ago i started to have horrible pain and bleeding when going to the bathroom. Around the same time, what I can only describe as a growth started appearing near my anus. The medical term was a anal fissure, fistula and skin tag but I didn't know that because the shame and fear made seeking medical treatment a challenge. I didn't want anyone to know what I was going through. I was suffering silently and my life had basically come to a complete stop. I was afraid to tell my wife significant other. I was afraid to leave the house and possibly have an embarrassing accident. When I asked Dr. Azimuddin if the operation would hurt, he said of course it would, which weirdly set me at ease. Here's someone who's not lying to me to make me feel better. He was wrong though because I immediately felt better after the procedure. Thank you so much!

The Best!
I had hernia surgery by Dr Azimuddin on March 5th and if it were not for the band aids and my hernia bulge gone, I would not have known I had surgery. On the pain scale 1 to 10. It has been a zero since the minute I woke from surgery. The medical staff at Memorial Houston Northwest were the nicest people.

Caring, Compassionate & Knowledgeable
My gastroenterologist referred me to Dr. Azimuddin for a large benign colon polyp that was found during a routine colonoscopy.Upon my initial visit on November 17th, it was recommended that I undergo a robotically assisted partial colectomy & anastomosis (Part of my colon where the large polyp was removed and the remaining colon reattached). My dad (who had accompanied me to my appointment) asked if the polyp could be removed endoscopically and unfortunately, Dr. Azi (As his patients call him) said no, due to the size of the polyp.Dr. Azi took the time to explain why the surgery had to be done and how it was to be achieved. His explanation was very thorough & left me and my dad with no further questions and my decision to undergo the procedure. All in all, Dr. Azi showed excellent bedside manner and showed exemplary professionalism in his interaction with me & my dad.

Perfect
Dr Azimuddin is really great doctor. Previously I was treated by one of the best rectal surgeons in Houston for three years but he couldn't solve my issue and I was suffering and had 2 surgeries. Dr Azimuddin told me what is a problem and solution at first appointment. Best and only solution was surgery. Surgery was in 2 stages, with one month between stages. Very smooth and painless. In and out in 20 minutes. Didn't take any pain medicines at all. Today I am fully recovered and very grateful that I met Dr Azimuddin. As I always say doctor can be a good doctor only if he is a good person.

80 years old - Surgery and best care ever
We highly recommend Dr. Azimuddin. You will be in great hands for your colon surgery needs. He was not just very thorough at explaining the entire procedure, he listened to my concerns for my 80 year mother's recovery concerns. My mom has gone through several surgeries of other kind, but the recovery is always troublesome. Dr. Azimuddin gave us very specific instructions to be followed and we did. My mom's recovery was so smooth. We are so grateful to not only Dr. Azimuddin's surgery skills, but he explained everything to be expected, the follow up, and straight forward care. Again, we highly recommend Dr. Azimuddin.

We walked in and the first thing I noticed was how clean the waiting room was and how friendly the staff was. My appointment was at 2:00pm, about 1:55 I was in the exam room, moments latter Dr. Azimuddin and a assistant introduced them self's and it was right to work. Many questions were asked, I was examined very much in detail and very with comfort, no stress, no pain. We then were (daughter and I) taken into Dr. Azimuddin's office, again the doctor explained in detail what my problem was and what the plan of action was. A hospital visit is planned for more test, the appointments made while we were in the doctors office so no conflict with dates. All of this took less than a hour, all an all this was the most informative, efficient, Doctors visit I've made.

Terrible experience
The doctor did not do his job as he should. All he talked about was how experienced he was, how good he was... (good doctors don't need to do any of that), when I asked him to be extra gentle in the examination because I have a lot of pain, his answer was "what do you think I have been doing for the last 30 years?" So, I left the appointment knowing a lot of the arrogant doctor which barely allowed me to speak and inform some important facts about my currentvhealth situation, assumed some wrong details, did not allow me to correct his assumptions, and I left the appointment without knowing how many fissures I have, their location, how deep, how serious,... etc. I know nothing about my condition. Because he and his team were in so much hurry. The total time this doctor spent with me did not exceed 7 minutes. Terrible experience!

Excellent Experience
I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Dr. Azi performed the robotic laparoscopic colectomy and my experience was excellent. Dr. Azi was very professional taking the time to answer any/all questions and explaining everything that would occur prior to surgery, while in the hospital, and during my recovery. I was only in the hospital 48 hours and my outcome has been very positive with absolutely no adverse side affects plus a speedy recovery to my normal pre-surgery diet and exercise routines.

Colovesical Fistula
Dr. Azimuddin quickly diagnosed my condition after about 9 months of not really knowing what was going on with me. I visited several doctors before finally deciding to make an appointment with Dr. Azi. He performed surgery on me (my first surgical procedure) to correct a colovesical fistula and I am so grateful for his expertise. Highly Recommend! Thank you Dr. Azi!
