Biography: Dr. Izfar is a minimally invasive surgeon who specializes in treatment of colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and pelvis organ prolapse. She also has a special interest in functional disorders, such as constipation, fecal incontinence, and pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Lewis then served as residency programdirector at Wilford Hall Medical Center and assistant program director for surgeryat UT Health Science Center San Antonio.After serving honorably for 18 years, Lieutenant Colonel Lewis returned to SanAntonio to enter private practice in 2012. His military experience taught him anappreciation for professionalism, leadership, and a collaborative approach toproblem-solving. These core values have served Dr. Lewis well throughout hisbusy surgical practice. While skilled in all aspects of Colorectal Surgery, hisprimary clinical interests are Colorectal Cancer and Inflammatory Bowel Disease,where a team approach to patient-centered care is paramount. Biography: John H. Winston, III, MD, FACS, FASCRS is a Diplomate of the American Board of Colorectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. His main surgical interest includes pelvic floor physiology, minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, local excision of rectal cancer and dynamic magnetic resonance defecography. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and completed a residency program in colon and rectal surgery at The Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Winston served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio from 2008 to 2015. Dr. Winston has completed many special training courses in the field of colorectal surgery. He is a member of many medical professional organizations and societies.

Biography: Dr. Rogers is a native Texan, born in San Antonio. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio in 1977. He completed his internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He did his general surgery residency also at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery (19781983) at the same medical center. In 2012, Dr. Rogers merged his practice with the START Center for Cancer Care. Dr. Rogers is board certified by the American Board of Surgery as well as the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Biography: Dr. Lisa Chen, MD is a General Surgery Specialist who practices in Houston, TX. She is 58 years old and has been practicing for 17 years. Dr. Lisa Chen, MD is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest.
