Dr. Khushbu Patel, DO

I would never recommend Dr. Patel to anyone I care about. She was rude, belittling and showed little interest to listen to me. Left in tears because I felt unheard and not communicated with. She made me feel like I was wasting her time when in fact, it was my time was wasted.

She truly cares about her patients and listen to them. She also is good to push back a little when I get a little complacent with taking care of myself.

I just joined the BC/BS SpiraCare network, have only had one visit so far with Dr. Patel at the Olathe SpiraCare clinic, and was very happy with it. She did none of the things that some of the negative reviews say, and everything from the positive reviews: she listens well, she is open, and was respectful of both my personal experience and what I had read regarding a chronic condition. It was a two-way conversation with a very competent, caring provider. I would definitely go back and have recommending her to my wife, who is looking for a new primary care physician.

She has NO bedside manner, would often belittle you, and answer your questions in a manner that is an insult to your intelligence. A prime example of her malpractice, is when she made a joke to a nurse about my organ during a physical exam, obviously right in front of me, and laughed.

I would not recommend Dr. Patel if you are looking for an Obgyn. My daughter was her patient for several months, and was not satisfied with the care she was getting. My daughter came down with a medical problem that was so severe she was unable to go to work due to alot of pain. She tried to explain to Dr. Patel that she couldn't work, but she would not take her off of work so she could get better. She didn't seem to care.

Dr. Patel got me in when my regular doctor had a full schedule. She was very thorough and ordered medicine accordingly.

In fact, I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to family and friends. When her assistant, Patti, told me that, having read the low results of my TSH test for my thyroid, Dr. Patel would decrease my thyroid supplement, I was horrified because I'd never heard such an explanation of the need to titrate my medication if my TSH level were low. A second MD opinion confirmed that she was right.

Dr Patel takes the time to listen to what's wrong, and figure out the best course of action to fix it.

Dr. Patel is always kind and caring. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr Patel does not explain conditions or treatments. Dr Patel calls for unnecessary tests. Dr Patel does not take time to get to know her patient before advising care that takes the patient's lifestyle into account.

Go to Dr Patel if you'd like leaving feeling like all your symptoms are in your head. Go if you'd like getting lectured on how great steroids are, they don't mask the cause they are great, go if you'd like to hear how she Was correct on her diagnosis even if she didn't know before & other Dr contradicted her diagnosis && you're not seeing her for that - very important to her she IS RIGHT !!!! Would never recommend this Dr to ANYONE for anything!!!! Very belittling & arrogant.

I recently made a sick visit to Dr Patel because my physician was off that day. I had never seen Dr Patel before but really appreciated her seeing me. She had great bedside manor and really took the time to talk with me. She was thorough in her exam and offered some things that could help my condition even though it was a viral infection. I would recommend her highly.

Dr. Patel is very kind, listens to any concerns I have and takes the time to answer them. She is also very good and attentive to my 3 young children.

Dr. Patel was very kind and had listen to my health complains and provided me with satisfying answers and took care of them.

Dr Patel is amazing. She helped diagnose a chronic condition that's really effected my life when multiple other doctors (specialists in the field and Dr Patel is my GP!) dismissed my symptoms. Now I'm getting the correct treatment I needed all along. I've already reccomended her to several people.

Dr Patel is really caring, takes time to understand in detail, explains the things.
