Arrogant, negligent, gaslighter
Lubbock has long waits to get into ENTs and after months of pain he had no wait so I went to him. I saw him for several visits.I had been up at all hours of the night for months with horrendous pain in my head, ears, and sinuses. I had lost almost all hearing and had a hole forming behind my right ear. He dismissed my concerns as allergies and said the hole was just a “no big deal congenital sinus”. He hardly looked at me or ran any tests.I told him “at night I am in so much pain, I truly feel like I am dying” he replied: “that’s quite dramatic.”My intuition finally took over and I went to Dallas to see an ENT at UTSW. Upon listening to me and doing a scope/biopsy, she diagnosed me with an autoimmune disorder and mastoiditis (the hole behind my ear). It turned out I was, in fact, at risk of dying. Because of my UTSW ENT, I received fast & effective treatment. Unfortunately, enough damage was already done to my ears and I now wear hearing aids as a woman in my mid 20s.

he has been taking care of me for years. always listens and deals with my problem. He did nasal surgery on me and my husband got his hearing aids from his audiologist. Usually able to get in to see him within 3-4 days.

He is truly a top-performing doctor. He gave me the facts and he laid out what was to be done and without hesitation instructed me I needed surgery. His staff was diligent in letting me know what I needed to do where it was and even the phone numbers. I can't say enough about how good I feel knowing that he saved my life. His no-nonsense approach to my diagnosis and straightforwardness is exactly what I was looking for.

Dr. Pershall is a doctor I will never forget. Especially for someone who is not good at remembering names. My daughter is 15 now, but he put tubes in her ears when she was 2. She has never had any problems with her ears since then. And what I remember the most, Is Dr Pershall following up over the weekend to see how she was doing. This is why I will always remember him. Awesome Doc!

I was not impressed at all at Dr. Pershall. I went in to see him because I was so dizzy I could barely stand up & throwing up. He said I had a inflamed inner ear. He said take 5 days of medicine & call back in a month if not better. Also I ask if therapy would help & he said no. I ended up going to therapy & learned so much from the therapist that Dr. Pershall didn’t even tell me. Therapy helped me more than anything. I would not recommend the dr. at all.

Dr. Pershall is amazing. I appreciate his direct approach and how he problem solves. He performed a cyst removal from my neck. Turns out the growth was cancerous. He saved my life by catching it early and getting me to treatment at the Joe Arrington Cancer Center. Anyone with negative reviews is missing out on a wonderful, thoughtful, loyal and thorough physician who takes care of his patients like they are his own. He's not going to hold your hand but he will get you treated.

Called to refer a patient to their office after they told the patient they would accept their insurance. The person who answered the phone told me they were declining the referral because of the insurance and then hung up on me I called back and was told it was because the patient was in another town. After explaining to them that the doctor's in this town did not accept the patient's insurance, they grudgingly gave me the fax number to send the referral but I will not be sending any patients.

Went in for one specific condition and totally ignored what I was telling him. He put me in to have my ears tested then tried to sell me VERY. Expensive hearing aids. I didn't even go in for hearing loss.

Dr. Pershall is personable which is the only reason I am giving him 2 stars. He looked at my throat for 2 seconds, told me to change my diet cutting out sugar and fizzy drinks and some other things. When I mentioned I had a disorder that I cannot cut out sugar, he totally ignored me. Obviously did not read my history. Spent less then 5 minutes with me. Forget the issue this issue is never ending to the point my PCP referred me due to concerns with non healing throat ulcer, $40 wasted.

Dr. Pershall is very professional and caring. He put tubes in my 9mth olds ears on Friday morning. Then personally called on Saturday to check on my son. He is very direct and doesn't sugar-coat anything, which to a mom is important! I want to know all of the risks and outcomes possible so I can make the right decisions. Dr. Pershall gave me all of the information and advice that I needed and asked for. I would recommend Dr. Pershall to anyone! We are very blessed to have him as our physician.
