Nope!
I had a biopsy taken in Dr. Schaus' office, by Dr. Schaus. She injected marcaine, which is a numbing medicine that is long acting, but takes longer to numb the area. She proceeded to do the biopsy BEFORE the local had time to work. I told her it wasn't numb, but she proceeded to do the biopsy even though I was coming off the table with the extreme pain she was causing me. It was totally unnecessary. I won't be seeing her again.

I was extremely upset when I wrote my initial review, and I believe that I used some harsh language that some might find offensive, so I'll try and do better this time. I knew going into this visit that it had the potential to go the way it did, so I'm not really sure why I'm so surprised when it did end so badly. I guess I had hope that Dr. Schaus wasn't some narrow minded individual and that I could trust her to come to understand my body as I know it having been in it far longer than she's known anything about it, so for her to be so against listening to my needs and wants I was severely disappointed. For me it felt as if her ego was worth more to her than listening to her patients. My mom read an article from 2006 about "narrative medicine" where doctors LISTEN to their patients, it's safe to say that Dr. Schaus is not familiar with nor a believer in narrative medicine. If you dare to advocate on behalf of your body, just avoid the headache.

They're nice but because I had to keep coming back instead of getting everything done in one appointment gives me the idea that they simply just want my money. When I reminded Dr.Schaus about something, she said " oh yeah" then walked out
