Best Gyn in my Life
I started seeing Dr Vernon when I was informed I was predisposed to osteopenia or osteoporosis and I was young. She did the bone density to confirm it and placed me on a medication and an exercise plan to build back bone. I followed it to the letter and continued to see her for the next 20 years. The plan built back some areas and stopped the loss in others. She took me through menopause making progress and today I am healthier than I have been in my adult life. She’s the kind of doctor who cares for the well-being of her patients.

run dont walk away from this
just the fact she practices out of an HCA hospital tells me all i need to know. any doctor who practices or has privileges at a HCA puts profits over healthcare.

One of the best OBGYN physician
Though she is retiring, her legacy will live on through her patients. Her brilliant skills as a surgeon saved me from continued years of pain. I had an extreme case of endometriosis that no other doctor wanted to risk operating on me, for fear of leaving me with a permanent colostomy bag. But, Dr. Vernon had a "hold my beer" mentality and the surgery was a success. I wish I would have found her sooner because I'm positive she could've prevented my medical condition from ever needing surgery. But, even beyond her surgical skills, she was a wonderful OBGYN that gave me years of great care.

I always recommended her
My last visit with Dr. Vernon was indeed my last visit as she's retiring. I cried when I got the email that this important person in my life for the last 35 years will no longer be my doctor. But I'm joyful for her that she gets to start this new phase of her life.

Dr. Vernon has been my gynecologist for over 30 years. She's knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and caring. I've never felt rushed, and she take the time required to explain procedures, treatments, and alternatives. I never dreaded my annual exams after my first visit with Dr. Vernon.
