Dr. Hummer's staff is the problem
1. staff does not utilize the messaging system accordingly - I don't know if they are understaffed, but the messaging is a joke2. they filed my mother's discount prescription program paperwork late when they had ample time to turn it around. This has been an ongoing issue. 3. The scheduler told me the wrong date for my mother's appointment and then told me I am not allowed to discuss my mother's healthcare when I've been talking to them for years and they have the POA on file. 4. The lack of attention to detail and follow-up has led me to look for my mother's care elsewhere

Good Doctor, Ridiculous staff
Dr. Hummer herself is kind but unhelpful. She doesnt explain the medicine she prescribes and how to take it, leaving the patient to do research themselves. But worse than thar, dealing specifically with any staff members is an absolute nightmare. They screen phonecalls, take forever to return calls and are rude. They messed my prescriptions up so many times and I've ran out of medication multiple times due to incompetent staff, once when I was pregnant even (which is very dangerous!). They also send lab requests incorrectly, and sends scripts to wrong pharmacies. It is a joke. I am looking for a new doc right now. Save yourself the hassle.

No sense of urgency
She wouldn’t test my reverse t3 (she says there is no t3/t4 conversion test), thyroid antibodies or run a Graves’ disease test (despite my biological mother having it). She said “treatment won’t change and I want to save you money.” I told her money doesn’t matter right now. She said my growth hormone levels may change as we adjust thyroid medication which is false since I have no pituitary gland (I don’t produce GH). She also said GH is not necessary and doesn’t improve quality of life which is also false (look up adult growth hormone deficiency). She also doesn’t understand that IGF testing is not reliable (you need a stim test). She doesn’t seem experienced with panhypopituitarism or growth hormone. I got sicker in her care. They also never answer the phone and she has a very rude nurse named Maria that will exaggerate and lie about things you say while documenting it into your chart.

Totally incompetent front desk staff. Checked in 15 minutes before my appointment time. Waited over 45 minutes then someone from behind front desk yelled my name across waiting room to say I would have to reschedule as I was late for my appointment. Would not listen to me when I said I had been waiting over 45 minutes and was not late. Beware! I will not be going back

Waited over a month to see this Dr anticipating help. Dr basically came in and told me she had NO answers for what I'm going through. Why did I see her?? All I can figure is so she could collect an office visit charge. She could have read my history and possibly sent me to someone else to avoid a LONG disappointing wait to see her. NO HELP!! And office staff NEVER answers phone EVER OR RETURNS calls....always get their voicemail. Trust me don't waste your time nor money here!!

This doctor is a joke. I saw her once for Grave's disease. She overdosed me on medication, starting me out on a really high dosage of Methimazole. This caused me extreme joint and muscle pain for weeks. I kept calling her to be seen again so that hopefully she could help me with the pain, but I never could get back in. Also, she was supposed to send me a lab request to have my blood checked every week. I never got one. I called and was told that they'd send it. It never happened.

I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and am pretty picky about my doctors. I felt Dr. Hummer is knowledgeable and professional, while also being friendly and taking an interest in me as an individual. I've not had any concerns with her practice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.
