Shockingly rude and dismissive
I was looking to find a new PCP since I had recently moved to San Diego. I left my visit with Dr. Haring in tears. She made me feel like she didn’t care at all about my health concerns. Her responses to any concerns I had were very, very short no expounding, no advice, no compassion. It felt so weird that I expressed how I was feeling and she told me I was being “argumentative” and that “This wouldn’t be a good fit”. When I said, “because I expressed how I am feeling is argumentative”, she responded, “yes”. That’s when my tears started falling and she just stared at me and said she will cancel the appointment and walked out. I felt so hurt and extremely confused. Very cold-hearted reaction to someone visibly crying because how you made them feel.

One of the worst doctors I’ve ever had. It’s been years but I still remember how I was treated, even though she was my primary care doctor, for about 3 years. I went to her for help with a chronic injury I had, and she REFUSED to see me for that issue again after she had referred me to a specialist, even though I didn’t get help from that specialist and needed her to put in more referrals, to help me find other options for treatment. They canceled any apt I tried to make. I also once went in with an ovarian cyst that was causing me horrific pain. My husband was with me, he’d had to drive. And she had a horrible attitude and told me I could rest in the room or... leave. She did not take me or my pain seriously and treated me with disdain, for no clear reason. I’m polite and kind but any time I sought help for pain she treated me like almost an addict, or worse, just trying to get meds. Instead of suffering real illnesses and pain. Cold and unempathetic and shouldn’t be a doctor.

Dr Haring is the most kind and compassionate doctor. She always takes the time to listen and explains every thing no matter how big or small. I would follow her anywhere!

Really cold bedside manner. Unless you have a super easy to solve problem she will not waste her time on you. Tried with her for a while but am not going to see her again.
