No bedside manners
Didn't do exam waited un exam room longer then I actually saw him. Which the wait was like 10 mins. Asked maybe 5 questions and that was all. Don't go see him.

Very compassionate doctor.
Dr. Rose is a very compassionate doctor. I had been hospitalized for several days and physicians were trying to find the cause of my problems. When it was suggested Dr. Rose perform an endoscopy I was quite apprehensive as was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Rose saw how afraid I was and took the time to explain what was going to happen and to reassure me he and his staff would do all they could to help me. Very kind.

I had been having a medical problem for several months and was about to give up. Dr Rose was able to narrow the possibilities down and, after a couple of tests, told me how I should precede. I found him to be compassionate and listened to everything I had to say. Never rushed. Currently I am doing terrific.

I usually don't have any problems with any doctor at Methodist that isn't my regular doctor at Midwest GI but this doctor could improve on his bedside manner. Nothing more to say about him.

Dr. Rose is an excellent skilled GI provider who did not rush to diagnose my condition. He took his time in understanding what was happening , came up with a probable diagnosis while awaiting confirmation of pathology. As a healthcare provider myself I do appreciate his diagnostic reasoning, skill in understanding disease pathology and all while delivering compassion and empathy in this diagnosis. I will never hesitate to refer any of my patients to him as he has excellent bedside manner and delivers excellent care. I feel very fortunate that our paths have crossed and look for a long standing relationship as he will be my GI for the rest of my life.

I currently have only had the opportunity to talk with Dr. Rose via phone due to covid 19. However, I write now, as I was so impressed with his ability to listen and act upon my health concerns. He immediately gave me the most probable diagnosis and scheduled the tests I needed, to confirm and rule out other issues. All of this was a great comfort to me. His care and initiative in getting my health issues resolved, makes me happy that he is my doctor. I highly recommend him!

Dr Rose was the first GI Dr that did not treat me in a demeaning fashion. I have quite a few medical concerns and the previous 2 physicians might be good on a professional level but their patient communications were terrible and they were very unprofessional. I can say that Dr. Rose does not walk on the God cloud that so many physicians do including from his own medical group. I appreciated his down to earth caring about the patient and will continue to see him.
