Very kind, explains everything, took very good care of me

I was unexpectedly hospitalized with a life-threatening condition (no prior history) & in need of a competent vascular surgeon, I was so blessed to have Dr. Lauvao come to my rescue when things were not looking very hopeful, he walked in my hospital room said six words to me , It was as if I’d known him my whole life, and I was in the best Hands ever! There was never a doubt from that moment on I was going to be fine! I was instantly confident in him , He was so kind so gentle, so compassionate and explained to me my situation, and was ready to tackle it, and assured me I’d be ok . On top of that it was a holiday weekend & He actually did my surgery on a Sunday morning, not making me wait any longer , (I was in hospital 6 days prior, long story , other hospital staff that I lost confidence in) I will forever be grateful to him! I thank God for bringing him to me , especially since this was not his regular hospital! Like I said he was heaven sent! I highly recommend Dr.Lauvao!

My appt. went well. Dr Lauvao explained everything thoroughly & I felt confident my surgery would be successful & it was. He is a very kind, compassionate doctor, who treats his patients as if they're the most important people in the world. I will refer any future surgery to him. He's also taken care of my son, with the same kindness & expertise. I have only one complaint, & it's not with him. It's with his office staff. They are rude & dismissive, especially on the phone. I feel as if I'm bothering them whenever I call for appointments. Conversations are not permitted and the staff does not fit well with the doctor, but maybe Dr Lauvao has no idea how they're treating his patients. Something I guess I'll have to tolerate in order to see this wonderful doctor....

Dr. Lauvao is, without a doubt one of the best doctors that has treated me in my 71 years. I hold 100% trust in his expertise, guidance and treatment(s) recommended and/or actual. Dr. Lauvao takes the time to actually listen to your concerns and explains in a comprehendible manner how your medical concerns/issues should be treated. Dr. Lauvao is THE surgeon to see when needed.

Dr. Lauvao recently took care of my father, and I found him to not only be a fine surgeon and physician, but one of the most compassionate and empathetic people I have ever met. To Dr. Lauvao, my Dad was not a patient, but rather a fellow human being in need of care, understanding, and compassion. God bless you for your many kindnesses Fr. Lauvao!

I cannot say enough about how skilled, caring and thorough Dr. Lauvao is! I would recommend him to anyone who may need any type of vascular procedure. He is absolutely the best choice for vascular issues and I cannot imagine being cared for by any other physician!

Doctor Lauvao is great. I highly recommend him- just not his staff. In my opinion, the front office manager is horrible to deal with. She does not own up to mistakes by her staff in billing issues and was rude to me.

Dr. Lauvao saved my life during emergency surgery in 2014. He operated again on me for a less serious blockage in 2016. My care was excellent, he answers questions and makes sure you fully understand what is going on and his skill level as a surgeon is second to none!

Dr Lauvao took care of my father-law during a particularly scary time. His honesty about the situation gave my dad the reality check that he needed and information to make informed decisions. In addition Dr Lauvao has one of the best bed side manners I have experienced in along time. His genuine concern helped me to get through this trying time. I would highly recommend Dr Lauvao.
