Dr. Laura Berglund, MD

She is very arrogant and should not be practicing medicine for mental illness. Maybe she is better with other areas of medicine but do not go to her for any mental illness issues. My father died under her care due to a drug that has suicidal thoughts as a side effect. She did not do blood work on him while at the first doctor's visit and when his wife pleaded with her at the follow up doctor's visit to change his medicine she did not. Later that same day of his follow up doctor's visit he died by suicide. Medicine/drugs are a wonderful tool but when you are dealing with mental illness, people who truly know the patient are your best tool! If I can help even one person and/or their family not go through this, this review will be worth it!

I like Dr Berglund very much. She listens to me, and is very down to earth, kind and caring.

I was seeing Dr. Berglund for approximately a year when I started having some health issues. I had done some research prior to my appointment and was pretty sure my thyroid was the cause of my symptoms. I requested lab work to be done and it was confirmed that my thyroid was completely out of whack. She was not going to start me on any meds but I insisted. 3 months later, I found out I was pregnant. High TSH can cause miscarriages but she did not want to increase my dose or check my labs.

Very though and professional and always prescribes the medications to solve my problem at the time needed.Dr Berglund also follows up from other MDs to keep up to date on my over all health. I have five daughters and have told them if they ever need to change Dr. to call on Dr. Berglund. .
