Dr. Laura Chang, MD

I initially was keen to see Dr. Chang because I read she has excellent bedside manner. My experience did not involve her going out of her way to be kind, inquisitive, or caring.The office is bustling and chaotic -- staff seem stressed, and the doctor seemed nonplussed about my concerns. I was treated like a number by all staff members, including her assistant who seemed just as unhappy to be there. I understand that physician burnout is rife, but I wish docs would realize how unproductive it is for patients to be uncomfortable during a visit, especially when they're paying for the visit.Why go into healthcare if you're so blatantly uninterested in helping people? Disappointing.

Not familiar with alternative treatment with regard to patient medical condition Difficult to schedule timely appointment Frequently cancels previously difficult to be scheduled appointments Rather than recommending treatment procedure, asks the patient which is preferable

Dr. Laura Chang is an excellent dermatologist. I highly recommend her. I have a history of basal cell and must see a derm every 6 months. Dr. Chang is by far the most conscientious and thorough dermatologist I have seen. Plus she has a great bedside manner. She is very good about explaining the problem and the plan of care.
