Dr. Yuri Kim, DO

Dr Kim is always friendly, informative, efficient and willing to answer any questions. She has performed all biopsies and surgeries very successfully. Her staff is helpful and pleasant.

Dr Kim’s office is very responsive. It is always easy to get an appointment. Dr. Kim is very responsive to attending my needs. Dr Kim gave many options to treat my plaque psoriasis. And Dr Kim understood my concerns with taking certain medications and immediately offered ointments that were extremely effective. When I saw her for a subsequent skin injury that did not heal, she immediately took a biopsy. She is on top of my care.

Highly disappointed with my interactions with this doctor. She speeds through appointments, talks fast as though she is quickly trying to move on to the next patient, and has an energy as though she is both afraid of dermatological issues and people alike. The extent of her diagnosis and follow up was looking at the problem area from a 3 foot distance with her hands in her lap, and taking before and after pictures-- of which she did not take the time to show share the comparative proof of improvement without me asking. When I did ask, Dr Kim became very defensive, agitated, and dismissive. It was a very off-putting interaction to have with a doctor. I had to ask her why she was speaking to me the way that she was, because it was so strange, combative, and unwarranted. After leaving Dr Kim's office I don’t feel at all at ease about the medical attention received.

As always my husband and I were seen in a timely manner. Dr. Kim explained what she was going to do. She evaluated a questionable spot and prescribed a medication. Dr. Kim and staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. We appreciate Dr. Kim and her staff.

Dr. Kim has treated multiple conditions for me and also referred me for Moh's surgery for a spot on my face. She is really good and takes time to make sure you are comfortable with the diagnosis and any treatment. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and uses her training and experience to quickly identify skin spots and what needs to be biopsied or removed. I highly recommend her.

Rude and inattentive

This is the worst dermatology office I’ve been to. It’s clear that the office is all about making money and has little to no concern about patient health and well-being. They took more than a week to respond to correspondence about something medical, but got in touch immediately about payment and needing to pay before a virtual appointment. It took 2 months after an initial appointment, followed by ANOTHER appointment (meaning $$$ for the office) for the same concern to finally get information needed for medication. The staff in the office were extremely rude and somehow repeatedly (maybe intentionally) misunderstood the steps to handle the paperwork. I felt dismissed and gaslit by the staff members. I ended up having to call my insurance providers ~20 times to play telephone because the staff didn’t want to do the work. I’ve had 2 other dermatologists go through the exact same process which was done and approved within a week without work or follow-up needed from me.

Dr. Kim is fine, but her office staff are rude, incompetent and clearly only care about collecting money instead of the well-being of patients. I do not recommend them at all if you need any paperwork or work to do be done by the office staff. If everything can be taken care of by Dr. Kim, it's probably fine but visits will be rushed.

I had an appointment with Dr. Yuri Kim on 10/15/2022. She spent less than 1 minute for my skin issues. I started by telling Dr. Kim that I developed an eczema behind my ears about 2 years ago. She looked at my ears from about 1 foot distance. She didn't even put on her gloves to take a closer look behind my ears. She immediately said that is was an irritation and that I should use ointment. I started telling her my clinical history but she was not interested in it. I asked her to confirm that it was truly an eczema. She turned to her assistant and said with irritation: Didn't I already tell her that it's a skin irritation?!" I told her that it could not be skin irritation. She walked away while I was talking... I felt very disturbed. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

I had been really been looking forward to meeting Dr. Kim. Unfortunately, there was no real eye contact. Never touched face. Snap diagnosis. When I asked for clarification, she shut me down. Arrogant. So disappointing! :-(

Dr. Yuri Kim of Clarity Dermatology is an excellent physician. I saw her yesterday for a variety of skin issues and she explained everything she was doing, told me what to expect and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Her staff is courteous and knowledgeable.

Dr. Kim made a procedure I’ve been dreading for YEARS so extremely easy. I was in and out in minutes! Dr. Kim and office staff were extremely accommodating, hospitable, and kind. Absolutely will be going back out to Dr. Kim!
