I had Uveitus in my eye and was in serious pain. DR. LAUREL HARRIS was so rude and showed no empathy. She had two new trainees in the room and told them to hold my head still and my eye open like I was some kind of barn yard animal. I was humilated, in pain and in tears. She dismissed me without a consult and the receptionist felt so bad for me that she gave me a hug and had me report the incident. I am not sure if anything happened or if she was reprimanded, but I was sent to the Cascade Eye Pullayup Sunrise for better treatment and care. Really traumatizing experience.

Dr. Laurel R. Harris, MD entered the room. I got tired waiting on the examining chair, because it was almost an hour before she showed up. I therefore sat in the regular chair and open the door slightly so I could get fresh air and listen to the activity. She rushed in and instantly treated me coldly, saying ,"Get in the chair." From there she was curt and unfriendly. Yet I can't give her one star because medically she, I guess, took care of me. But I would not see her again. I mean, in my mind Seniors deserve a little respect; not a lot of respect. The one that cleared up many questions was the black female assistant that talked to me on the way out. I give her 5 stars. I was surprised that she was a member of a council that settled problems between patient and doctor.

Gave me over the counter eye drops for getting chemicals in my eyes. Drops did nothing. Said to call back in 5 days. Contacted and said she'd call on Mon. No call. Called, again, on Fri. No reply. Now it's Mon., again. Not acceptable.

We came for just annual eye exam, and was charged for a full comprehensive eye exam, without even being told that we are charged for that. In fact, Dr. Harris only did a regular eye check up to give us a prescription for our glass. When we got a bill from our insurance, we called the office and was explained that we will be charged a comprehensive eye exam from now on because we did come to the office once to get our eye check up due to some redness in the eye. So everyone please watch out ..
