Not there for you
Had appointments last year- cancelled, had another this past month- cancelled again. Now no physical for 18 months and the office says 'we'll get back to you'. Did the same to my wife.

Thoughtful Provider with Helpful Insights
Dr. Maltese really took the time to listen to me, and had noticed that there may be additional autoimmune diseases that had not yet been addressed. I really appreciated her thoughtful insights, and unfortunately before we could continue our work together, my insurance stopped covering Dr. Maltese. But, seeing a provider like this gave me hope to keep searching for answers and get second opinions, if certain providers are being dismissive towards my symptoms, since Dr. Maltese always asked important questions and was able to connect information in a way that my past PCP's hadn't before. Unfortunately, there was a nurse that I was always seen by before seeing Dr. Maltese, who had unsettling energy, and was invasive and rude at best. I wasn't sure if this nurse always works alongside Dr. Maltese, but this nurse had made strange assumptions about me during questionnaires. Dr. Maltese's nurse didn't seem to understand the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity.

Dr. Maltese is an incredible physician: compassionate, professional and warm. She goes above and beyond. I have never felt rushed, and always heard. When I had symptoms that didn’t seem to have any clear cut diagnosis, Dr. Maltese researched and explored until she found the diagnosis and set up a treatment plan. Dr. Maltese has great integrity and a big heart. I’m blessed to have her as my Primary Care Physician.
