A rare, exceptional healthcare experience
My experience with Dr. Chu was simply outstanding, rare, and by and large the best healthcare experience I've ever had. I had a painful, acute ear issue recently, and I was able to make a next-day appointment online easily through Dr. Chu's website, and new patient forms were sent with a secure link in advance. Dr. Chu's staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful in explaining my co-pay upfront. The appointment started promptly, and Dr. Chu was able to diagnose my issue almost immediately.What really surprised me was how engaging and compassionate Dr. Chu was. I had a pretty traumatic childhood experience with multiple ear infections and have chronic issues still today. Dr. Chu listened and assuaged my fears without being being dismissive. He also took time show me what was going on in my ears, answered all of my questions, and even walked me through treatment options that I had no idea were even available to me. I avoided ENTs (and swimming) for decades, now I feel hopeful!

My experience as a patient, student of, and employed by doctors, Dr Chu is outstanding. His understanding of rare disease is impressive. He is gifted when interacting with his patients. I would recommend Dr Chu to any family or friend.

I'm going to make this short. Dr. Chu is amazing with the most down to earth bed side manner. The necessity to see a Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist came suddenly and not knowing anyone in Austin, I relied on reviews. Boy did I nail this one and grateful to be able to get in to see him and for him to be in Austin. Thanks doc!!!
