Dr. Laurie Rousseau, DO

My kids have just transitioned from their pediatrician to first provider as an adult. Each of them asked that I go in for the initial visit but this doctor refuses to allow anyone but the patient, which is not an Anmed policy nor is it respecting the rights of the patient. My concern is why. I’m good with her seeing them alone and then going in for a few minutes to bring up any concerns or give any background info. Not to mention, they still live in my house, I carry the insurance, and pay all their bills. If everything is being done correctly, why not allow who the patient wants to be present.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rousseau on the Anmed website and received an email with an estimate. I tried to access the estimate but the system did not allow me to access the numbers. I call the help desk and they said the clinic did not set me up in the proper way and asked me to call Dr. Rousseau's clinic. I called the clinic and after 45 min with someone on the phone she said she could not help me access the system which I would need for prescription, exam results, and others. She end up saying I should look for another doctor. Wow!!!!

I changed to Dr. Rousseau after having been at another AnMed family practice for 30 years. I changed because the new practice is 2 miles from my home. I have seen Dr. Rousseau 3 times & could not be more pleased! Not only is she caring, the entire office staff is wonderful! I am a heart patient as well as a diabetic. She went through my meds and chart with me. Since I have lost 2 grandparents as well as my mother to Dementia, she was very caring about my concerns. My 44 y/o dgt is also seeing her now We both are proud to be her patients!

I'm a new patient. She walks in telling me what's she's not going to do. Talks condensendingly to me and about my beloved previous doctor. I would NOT recommend this angry person to anyone.
