Dr. Gendler was very detailed and thorough with explaining my surgery. She was compassionate and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Gendler. The office staff was just as great!

Dr. Gendler and her staff made an immediate impression on me that I had nothing to worry about. I was in the best place with the best people, and that was a very accurate assessment. I was treated like gold and am healthy because I was in her/their care.

Dr Gendler and her staff are kind, professional and friendly. I felt confident in her care, respect her opinions, and was treated both as a patient and a person, which is not always the case in the age of digital medicine.

Dr. Gendler was great, even her staff. 37 with breast cancer, I ended up needing a mastectomy over lumpectomy and Dr. Gendler had to break the news to me. ON warmness I would give 4 out of 5 but she was honest and you could tell she really cared! She took the time to answer any questions and surgery went very well.

I saw Dr Gendler today for a consultation. She was very personable, knowledgeable and had incredible bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable (which isn’t always easy when you’re dealing with certain body parts). I left with a treatment plan that made me feel very confident. (I am just noting that my wait time was long due to seeing her in clinic rather than a regular appointment)

where do i start? from putting incorrect billing codes on my script (which can cause health insurance to deny coverage) to telling me my insurance doesnt cover radiology imaging (which it does), to telling me my breast MRI is negative (and failing to mention i need additional imaging for ultrasound which is on the same report), to then not even calling me to let me know that i need additional imaging because a mass was found on the ultrasound, to being rude.

I should have written this review sooner—not sure why I didn’t! Dr. Gendler removed a fibroadenoma from my right breast in 2011 when I was 23 years old. After my terrible PCP, with horrible bedside manner, told me my lump was nothing (and ultimately it was non-cancerous), I went to Dr. Gendler for a second opinion. She made me feel extremely comfortable, had a plan of action that was logical (yet smart) and made my 23 year old self calm again. She is truly a wonderful woman and doctor!

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Gendler. She did an amazing job on my nipple/skin sparing mastectomy. Dr Gendler had a wonderful bedside manner which meant a lot during this difficult time. My initial consultation with her was almost an hour long. She was extremely thorough and answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed.
