Dr. Leila Boukhris, MD

This Doctor doesn’t have proper training for geriatric's. She lacks patience and empathy as does her staff. My Grandmother was a patient of hers and there is no denying that she is a difficult patient. She has dementia and it manifests in ways of paranoia. She’s hard to get to appointments and she’s hard to get to be compliant. My grandmother recently ran out of one of her medications early because she mis placed them. My grandfather, her husband, died. We call and pleaded with the Doctor’s office to allow us to fill this medication early (3 days) to help her manage the heart break of losing her husband. The doctor wasn’t working and didn’t have any on call Doctor to discuss. The staff didn’t offer any empathy and just repeated that the doctor wouldn’t do that. The doctor called back the next day and told us not only was she not going to help her with the prescription she would no longer see my grandmother as a patient. We put our trust in these Doctors to take care of our loved ones and this one failed us. This isn’t the only example but it’s the one that broke the camels back

Great Doctor

Dr. Boukhris is the best doctor I've ever had and I've had several. She is smart, caring and makes me feel like I'm the most important patient she has for the time she pends with me. She doesn't just treat my physical issues but cares about my emotional issues a story well. She has been one of my biggest champions and I can't say enough about her and how blessed I am to have found her!

Dr. Boukhris is an amazingly competent internal medicine physician. Not only knowledgeable, but one of the warmest medical professionals I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Dr. Boukhris is one of the smartest doctors I have ever had the place take care of me. She is so caring, knowledge, and provides you with the best treatment opinions. She cares about each of her patients individually. She refuses to use a computer in the room because she doesn’t want to take the attention away from her patients. She gives them her undivided attention. She is truly the best.

Dr. Boukhris is the best!!! She makes me feel like a friend, Laura's of a patient. She is very thorough, in that she reviews your labwork and current medications with you. She insures that all other areas of your health are being monitored, is: yearly mammogram's, pap smears, etc. She requests consults when needed. I highly recommend Dr. B, to any patient shopping for a new MD who truly cares about your health and well being. You will not feel like "just a number" in this office!

Dr. Boukhris is smart, kind and caring. She is knowledgeable and seems to stay up-to-date with current medical studies and medicines. She spent time going over my blood work in detail, giving me praise for areas where my health seemed ideal and advice on how to treat health issues needing improvement. In my case, she diagnosed ectopic eczema which had been plaguing me for years. Within a week, the medicine she prescribed and skin products she recommended cleared it all up.

Dr. Boukhris is definitely one of best MD's I've ever been seen by. She is very patient, knowledgable and understanding. She was so kind, well mannered and her staff is very professional, also her nurse who assists her and takes blood is amazing. I never even felt the needle.
