Cataract Surgery
One month after Dr. Norton performed cataract surgery on one of my eyes, I could not be more pleased. She thoroughly explained the procedure in the pre-op visit. The procedure and recovery went very smoothly. The end results are great.

Her expertise was evident during my first visit with her. I would have appreciated more explanation of her findings after the exam was done. I heard comments of “scarring” during the exam, but no follow up from her before she exited the exam room. I left the office with apprehension about my eyesight, and my future ability to remain independent.

I visit Dr. Norton every year. This time, she found a tiny microscopic hole in my retina, which initially had me very worried. However, she was able to fix it in her office in just minutes with a laser. No pain, no problems, and no aftereffects. Thank you Dr. Norton for saving my eyesight!

Lately Dr. Norton's office has blithely notified me my appointments must be postponed with no regard for my needs. This happened last year and again this year, twice. I was set for May, reset for June, and now for July. The scheduler was unconcerned to the point of rudeness. It seems Cedar Eye Center has lost it commitment to patient care and satisfaction. Is it possible Cedar Eye feels that as a Medicare patient I am no longer entitled to professionalism? I did not have this issue before.

Dr. Norton has been my ophthalmologist for a number of years and I have always been thrilled that I found her. She performed cataract surgery on me several years ago and my vision has been 20/20 ever since. Dr. James B. Conant, former president of Harvard University once said "Each honest calling, each walk of life has it own elite, its own aristocracy, based upon excellence of performance. I am sure when he wrote that it was people like Dr. Norton that he had in mind.

She recently did my cataract surgery on both eyes; distance is 20/20 and up close is J1. Very excited I will not be wearing glasses. She's always pleasant when I come in and doesn't seem rushed; willing to answer any and all questions. I have highly recommended her as a top notch opthamologist in our area.

Dr. Norton did a fantastic job on my cataract and inter-ocular lens implants. She explained everything in simple to understand terms. I previously had radial keratotomy surgery and she walked me through all the ramifications of having the cataract surgery and lens implants. My results have been outstanding. Thank you Dr. Norton!!

I had cataract eye surgery from Dr. Norton. I highly recommend her she is professional, experienced, and polite. I went from not being able to see at a distance for many many years, the following day after cataract surgery my right eye was at 20/20. The left eye (the worse eye) was at 20/20 in less then a week. Thank you Dr. Norton for my new eyes i feel like a youngster again.

I just had eye surgery with Dr. Norton, and I would highly recommend her. She was thorough and kind. She listened to my questions and suggestions regarding helping sharpen up the already solid organization in the office. My eye surgery was a great success, which has made me decide to have surgery on my other eye. Dr. Norton knows her field of expertise and gave me confidence, even after reading some of the reviews posted. My Mom introduced her to me, and my Aunt has also recommended her.

Seemed very abrupt. She diagnosed Fuchs Dystrophy without explanation. I went out to my car and googled it and discovered it was a congenital condition which often causes total blindness of both eyes. So my sons have the tendency too! She explained nothing about it, sending me on my way to learn about it by myself. Aggregiously negligent and uncaring!
