Dr. McCluskey is very compassionate and nice. He knows how to ease you fears and is very smart and knows what he is doing. After suffering from a ton of pain in my face that felt like an electric shock, stabbing searing pain and to the point where I couldn't even eat, touch my face, brush my teeth on that side, because it would set off an attack. He sent me to neurosurgeon Dr. Lee at Pennsylvania Hospital, where I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia and saved my life. He also put me on nerve pain medication until I could be seen by neurosurgeon and ordered an MRI with and without contrast, so I could have everything ready for the neurosurgeon. His office staff is great and everyone is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. McCluskey and Pennsylvania Hospital and Penn Medicine.

Dr. McCluskey expertly did my EMG test, correctly diagnosed CIDP, and prescribed the best dosage prednisone for me. He is extremely skilled, willing to listen to my concerns and answer all questions. After months wasted seeing other neurologists who had misdiagnosed me, an Occupational Therapist referred me to Dr. McCluskey. I'm so very thankful to be in his care and highly recommend him.

8 years ago I was afflicted with a serious illness that affected my nerves, muscles, and joints. I drove 8 hours to bring my parents to my appointment with me that I had to wait months to get, and my other doctor's were waiting the results of. McCluskey, was heartless, uncompassionate, and sent with home with 1 session to physical therapy to "learn how to stretch my neck." Here I am 8 years later, riddled with arthritis, and still having the same neurological problems I came to see him with.

Dr McCluskey has been my neurologist for many years. He has seen me during bad times and when I showed little symptoms. He always has time to answer my questions. His willingness to understand goes beyond words and he knows exactly what my mind and body are feeling.

Dr McCluskey is the best doctor I have ever seen. He diagnosed my condition after doctors at Jefferson missed it. He is compassionate and very smart. I would not go to anyone else.
