Best of the best
My husband and I could not recommend Dr. Dagi enough. Our son (who was 1 at the time) received strabismus surgery in 2023 at Connecticut Children's hospital and it was not successful and we weren't completely happy with our experience so we decided to research to find the best of the best. And that is how we found Dr. Dagi. We waited 9 months for our second opinion appt. and for her to evaluate our son's medical situation. And let me tell you she was worth every day we waited. The care that she and her staff gave our son was above and beyond what we could have hoped for.Dr. Dagi just performed his second strabismus surgery and we could not have had a better experience at Boston Children's hospital. Every single staff member from checking us in to his post op nurse were better than the last. Pre op care, surgical care and post op care were above and beyond what we could have hoped for when your 2 year old is going under for surgery.

Dr. Dagi is highly qualified for treating adult strabismus. I traveled from Asia for her consultation and surgery 10 years ago, and I am back to her for another check up. Would not go anywhere else.

She gave me my life back
My eyes were not aligned for many years, and I'd reached the limit for prisms in my glasses. I knew the next step would be surgery, so I did my research. It was easy to see that the best East Coast surgeon for this condition is Dr. Linda Dagi. Dr. Dagi has specialized in strabismus, and has authored many articles on it for medical publications. She teaches at Harvard Medical School. She has done this particular surgery hundreds and hundreds of times. At my first appointment with her, she was excellent at explaining everything about my condition and the surgery that would correct it. More than that, she was actually interested. My operation was smooth, quick, and EFFECTIVE--suddenly everything had a sharp outline instead of the fuzziness I'd been living with for years. And I acquired depth perception--wow! I felt like I got my life back. How do you thank someone for such a huge gift?

She is phenomenal and I can't understand why she only has 3.5 stars. She is brilliant, kind, caring and great at what she does. My son learned he was seeing double and she did the surgery to correct his vision. She has monitored him ever since. Thanks Dr. Dagi!

Five years ago when I was 66, Dr Dagi took on my challenging adult strabismus case. It was hard to have eye to eye contact which is important in my work. Recovery was fast following a three-hour bilateral surgery. My eyes are now straight and, more important, I regained depth perception. She was great in all respects. No hesitations of any kind.

Dr. Dagi overcorrected my eyes and then in an attempt to fix them readjusted them twice. I had two lazy eyes to start with and I have two lazy eyes again after my nightmare of an experience with her. Before my surgery she said she was sure my eyes would look perfect and was extremely confident. Afterwards she told me nothing is perfect and they looked fine to her. Saw another dr and his measurements showed my eyes drifitng. He said he was surprised at how off they were considering her reputation

Dr. Dagi was my daughter's pediatric ophthalmologist when we moved to Atlanta. She came highly recommended by the doctor who started my daughter's care in CT. We were extremely happy with her office presence and her bedside manner. Anyone in the Boston area whose child has Dr. Dagi as their doctor is extremely fortunate!
