Disappointing
I was a patient of Dr. Woodall for three years during my adolescence, and while her care was initially satisfactory, the quality significantly declined after she transitioned to a private practice. Prescription refills often took an unreasonably long time, and communication became extremely difficult, with most of my calls going to voicemail and rarely receiving a response. There was a specific instance where I desperately needed a refill and, despite consistent attempts to reach out, received no response for a week. The only time she would reach out was to book an appointment Additionally, the appointments felt very rushed, focusing primarily on writing prescriptions rather than providing comprehensive care. The final straw was when the rate increased to $200 for a 15-minute appointment, which I found unreasonable given the level of service. Due to these issues, I decided to stop seeing Dr. Woodall.

My experience with Dr. Woodall was extremely disappointing. We have been going to her for years, because this is one of the few practices that takes our insurance. She was all right, although she never showed much empathy. However, during the pandemic, I had a very upsetting interaction with her. My daughter suffers from extreme anxiety and chronic pain. We were starting her on a new treatment plan with a neurologist, who consulted with Dr. Woodall about medication. I was told to follow up with Dr. Woodall ASAP so that I could get the new prescription. When I called, I was told that the next appointment wasn't for 3 weeks. When I explained the situation, that I just needed the Rx for my daughter (who at the time was suffering from widespread pain and spending all day in bed), I was told it was not urgent and I would have to wait for the next appointment. I left a message for Dr. Woodall, but didn't hear back. When I called again, the receptionist told me, again, that I had to

I've been seeing Dr. Woodall since I was a teenager and am still currently her patient at age 37. She is the best and I adore her. I have public healthcare mental health services, but still see Dr. Woodall out of pocket about every 6 months. That said the front staff is an absolute disaster. They make so many important errors regarding billing, and scheduling. Recently the attitudes of the front staff have been a little warmer but there are some staffers there that are incredibly rude.

Very difficult to get appointments. When our son was running low on medication, in the middle of a pandemic, we called for three weeks before getting a call-back.Then suddenly that same day Dr. Woodall decided to drop our son as a client "because she hadn't seen him enough recently." The recently referring to the many months we've been on lockdown, during which time she did call in a refill for his medication but failed to request she see him. This has left our child with no medication and no psychiatrist suddenly with no notice. This move seems so impulsive, so mentally unstable I would absolutely say stay away from Dr. Linda Woodall. (To note: when he did have appointments with her, she was brief and superficial and just wrote prescriptions. We used a real therapist for his actual treatment. So no loss there in terms of actual treatment. She was just a scrip writer. She seemed completely ill-equipped to any actual therapy.)

Very rude and disorganized office staff. My initial visit was cancelled by them (Bethany) and I was rescheduled for a different date. When I showed up for the apppintment, they had no record of the changed appointment and told me I never showed up to the initial appointment ( which was cancelled by them). When I explained the situation I was told “mistakes happen” ! Never again will I visit this office. I wasted an entire morning to come to an appointment I never had!
