Great care
I was referred to Dr. Davis for appendix cancer, a very rare cancer with little research and few specialists. She has been excellent in explaining things, listening to me, and making sure my care is coordinated with other providers. She displays both excellent medical knowledge and excellent bedside manner, exactly what you want in a doctor.

Makes a difficult time easier
Dr. Davis is straight forward and kind. She was recommended by my dermatologist after I tested positive for melanoma on my forearm. The doctor told me what to expect, but I am so thankful that I read a review prior to the in-office surgery saying that more flesh was excised than the patient expected. For me, yes, it was a bit deeper than I anticipated, but having that bit of information helped me not to be too upset by it. The thing is, I wanted the surgeon to be sure she got it all - or ensured that the margins of the cancer were completely gone - so that the chances of it returning were as low as possible. And I have a 3% chance of that cancer returning and a 5% chance of it occurring somewhere else. I think that’s a great outcome and I am grateful to Dr. Davis and her lovely intern and medical staff. The in-office procedure was not bad, no pain post-op and the scar looks better and better. If you have a melanoma, I wish you the best and Dr. Davis is a great ally.

My mother has been under Dr. Davis' care for the better part of the past two years for Melanoma, stage 3. Both Dr. Davis and all of the staff at the AMCH surgical department have been very professional and compassionate. My mother has decided to discontinue treatments but we have been blessed by the care she has received here and are grateful for the great communication and compassion from Dr. Davis and her associated staff. We are very fortunate to live in a time where advanced medicine and doctors like Dr. Davis are available as options for cancers that were previously untreatable. We highly recommend Dr. Lindy Davis.

I was diagnosed with a Melanoma by my Dermatologist and they recommended Dr Davis perform the needed surgery to treat the malignancy. During my consultation with Dr. Davis I immediately felt that she was well versed with my condition and gave me the confidence that she was the physician that was best for me. Fortunately, we caught this early and the prognosis was good. She scheduled me in for surgery quickly and removed the site of the melanoma, removed a lymph node and also removed a secondary site of a suspicious looking spot on my arm. The surgery was more extensive than I thought, even though she described what she was going to cut out, but because she was very thorough she was able to remove all the cancerous tissue. The labs all came back negative, and I was clear of any cancer. Dr. Davis accurately described what my procedure would be and honestly told me what I could expect up front. She made me feel like she cared for me and my wife which made us both feel more comfortable
