Bedside manners were not on par
Her staff called me at 7am asking me to come in two hours earlier than expected for a surgery then I sat in the pre-op room for 3 hours after my original time. She didn't come out and talk to my mom or husband after the surgery, she called me the day after my surgery to tell me what happened. My pre-op visit I sat in the exam room for 2 hours waiting for someone to come in for a procedure. I had to walk out of the exam room in the robe asking where she was, and no one knew where she was.

Horrible. Never feel attended to no matter how many times I see her. She seems to not remember her patients.

To begin, expect to wait at least 45 minutes not what this site says. Once the doctor comes in she acts like she does not even know you, this was after having her operate on me and see me through a whole pregnancy. She once asked me where I got a scar on my stomach from. She had done laparoscopic surgery on me a year ago!Her appointments are super rushed. You are not a person, just a number. Also, the ultrasound tech was horribly rude&had me in tears. My husband was shocked how she talked to us

Words cannot describe the horrible the way Dr. Cousineau treated me as a patient. Despite describing severe pelvic pain to point of being bedridden and looking for concrete answers, all Dr. Cousineau did was keep prescribing me different birth controls and telling me that it was likely just “my period needing to even out” (even though I’ve had it for 8 years). Most upsetting was that at an appointment, the pelvic exam was so painful I cried. Instead of addressing it, she just kept talking.Sar

Dr. Cousineau has been the most amazing OBGYN. She delivered my daughter (4), my son (2), and will deliver my next sweet baby in February. She is incredibly thorough, easy to get in touch with, and you always feel like you can ask her anything! The staff at OBGYN Associates is absolutely wonderful as well, and always make you feel comfortable!! Also, I did not realize this is unique, but the doctor you choose within the practice is who delivers your baby, such wonderful peace of mind!

I was referred to Dr. Cousineau for a minimally invasive hysterectomy. To shrink my uterus for this surgery, she injected Depot Lupron, used off-label (it is FDA approved for palliative care of prostate cancer). I had horrible side effects: severe joint pain, substantial weight gain, hair loss, severe memory problems. Some persist after 4 years. I'm distressed that Dr. C. didn't tell me that this was an off-label usage and the drug is notorious for permanent, debilitating side effects.

I always had a wait time of 30+ minutes when coming in for an appointment with Dr. Cousineau. I had several issues over the year that I was a patient of hers, which required me to be in her office about every 4-6 weeks ... but yet at every appointment I felt like I was starting over with her explaining why I was there and what my past issues were. She doesn't listen to her patients when they tell her about problems, nor is she easy to access. She is also very curt and has zero bedside manner.
