Dr. Lisa Jukes, MD

Was able to be seen two wonderful providers, Irene Huerta NP and Dr. Lisa Jukes, and I have nothing but great things to say. The biggest green flag for me, was being offered pain control other than just ibuprofen for my IUD insertion. Every staff member in both locations were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice.

Changed my mind about a procedure and Irene was understanding of our situation, kind, patient and helpful with information. We will return once a decision is made.

We moved from a small town and although I felt like the West Lake office was a little too impersonal, when I visited Irene at the other office, I felt right at home. Everyone, especially Irene, was so caring and very friendly! It’s not easy to find a new GYN and I had heard nothing but great things about Dr. Jukes and her practice. The follow up, my care, and the attention to detail that I have experienced has been nothing but impeccable.

I’ve been going to Dr. Jukes for years. The staff is very friendly and thorough. I really feel like I am receiving the best care from Tracy (nurse). She is the best!

She is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever seen! She takes her time with you and very detailed with her answers and diagnoses! She performed my hysterectomy surgery and I have stuck by her ever since! I would highly recommend her for all your female needs!

Dr Jukes is the 3rd Dr. I have been to since moving from Dallas. She took a very detailed health history and then suggested a procedure I had never been offered to see if we could find the root cause of my pain. I was able to get in two days after and got answers. Very validating.

Personable, interested, competent staff make coming here a pleasant experience. I am a physician, and so observe and listen with a critical eye and ear when I’m in another doctor’s office. I’m impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Kelli Porter, Dr Jukes, and all the staff.

I sought out Dr. Jukes with two very specific concerns and was thoroughly disappointed at my first appointment with her. I had previously seen NP Irene who genuinely cares.Dr. Jukes had clearly not reviewed the intake forms, was sternly focused on finding a surgical solution and did not seem interested in who I am as a person. She barely asked any questions related to my medical concerns, and instead kept pushing for genetic testing ($), surgical options and discouraged me from finding less invasive solutions. My concern for Perimenopause was completely dismissed. I was handed a surgical package before the end of the appointment even though I clearly stated I was not in favor of the three surgical options she promoted. I did not feel heard, understood or cared for. Dr. Jukes certainly has a lot of options for purchase in her practice and it shows as she approaches a patient encounter with a business mindset.

Tracie was very personable. She takes her time & willing to explain as well as address any questions.

I’ve been going to Modern Women’s Health for many years. From the front desk, to Cheryl who takes my blood for blood tests, every single person is delightful, knowledgeable and kind. My all time fave is Candice Di lorio. She’s my go to Physician’s Assistant and she does it all. Yearly exam, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss. And oh gosh do we have fun talking and laughing. But she also knows her stuff. That woman is SMART!!! They all are!!! Hannah at the front desk? So smart. The nurses? So smart. If my appointment is at 11am, I get escorted to the back at 11am. They are THAT good. It really is a great place. You can even go see Aubrey and get you some facial treatments!!! I have!!! I got lip fillers and all sorts of stuff. It’s fun going in there. It can really make a difference when you establish yourself at one medical facility. Get to know them so they can get to know you! Anyway. Gotta run!!! Bye!!!

I have seen a couple of doctors and mentioned my struggles with Perimenopause but was told that I didn’t need intervention until I had stopped having periods for an entire year. This team not only listened, but are stepping up to help manage this challenging time. I so appreciate feeling heard and seen!

I love my NP, Tracy Kwan. Really makes you feel you, as the patient in front of her is her number one priority. Answered all my questions and concerns. Helped develop a good plan for my personal health that will work best for me.

I finally found a Dr I can trust to help me with my health needs! Dr. Jukes is personable, knowledgeable & inspiring. Her staff is very friendly and efficient...this is a great office overall! Barely any wait time btw but do get your visits scheduled way ahead of time because they get booked fast since they offer such great service.I hope Dr Jukes can be my Dr for a long time!I look forward to my doctor's appointments now!

Dr Jukes is always there to hear your concerns and listens. Every patient is treated with respect and individually to labs and test results.

Horrible experience with a horrible practice. Wanted to charge me $50 to call in a preauth for a med they prescribed. Then I was charged a $106 office visit for an annual that is covered at 100% by insurance. This place is a joke and the staff is rude and unprofessional.

This practice is more focused on selling cosmetic surgery and other add-ons versus taking care of women’s health. It is impossible to get an actual human on the line when you need test results and when they do call, you forget about getting a response when you return the call if you just happen to be working when they call you.I am giving three stars instead of one or two only because I had better experiences two or more years ago. That said my daughters and I will be transitioning to a different practice.
