Rude
Waited weeks to see her for real help with Thyroid condition. Did not want to discuss underlying condition or possible causes to new symptoms. Took one look at me, told me I was morbidly obese and said my problems would go away if I lost weight. I have since seen another doctor who, with proper testing and care, diagnosed me with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, changed my medication and diet. I have since lost 75lbs and feel more like myself again. All it took was a compassionate doctor that actually took the time to listen.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Strickland’s for almost a year. During this time, she has proven to be a terrible communicator, taking days to return telephone calls or MyChart messages. She acts bothered when asked relevant questions about his condition, and has failed to prescribe him the appropriate dose of medication to get his condition under control. She is an absolutely incompetent and uncaring doctor. Run far and fast from Dr. Strickland. She doesn’t care about her patients.

This woman is utterly incompetent. She didn't listen to anything I had to say. Was unprepared for our televisit even asked why she "talking to me". Put in her after visit summary the wrong diagnosis. I was diagnosed by 2 separate Dr's with hyperthyroidism caused by Graves Disease but she has me diagnosed with Hypothyroidism from Hashimoto's (and no I'm neither my blood tests prove that I'm neither). I wouldn't recommend her at all.

My husband is a type 1 for 43 years now, has been having serious bg control issues. After nearly spending the night in the emergency room we have yet to hear back from the office at all!! She doesn't have time for her patients, terrible physician. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

My husband was on the verge of having a diabetic emergency when we called Dr. Strickland for help. She was incredibly impatient and rude, hanging up on me and blocking my number so I had to use another phone to get my husband help! Thankfully, the woman working the Presbyterian endocrinology switchboard was kind enough to help us. I have never had such a bad experience with a Presbyterian professional and I am very disappointed.

Dr. Strickland has treated my Type 2 Diabetes for over 3 years. Her treatment protocols have reduced and controlled my A1C levels at goal. She takes the time to explain the treatments and does not hesitate to change medications before things get off track.a
