Horrible staff
although Dr. M herself is nice enough and attentive enough, her staff is hostile, difficult, and accusatory. Because of the nature of allergy shot visits, one has to deal with the staff a lot. I found the staff to be so rude, difficult, and threatening that I abandoned this practice and found a different allergist in a different town. I couldn't be happier with my new one. Would never go back to this one. Also note: I complained about this experience, and asked for a refund of the (relatively small) payment they requested as a co-pay for the shot-visits, since I had to completely start over in my shot series when I switched. The corporate folks were not helpful or understanding at all and would not compromise at all. In short, this was a substantial waste of money which set me back in both dollars and time.

Dr. Mendelsohn is the best doctor I have ever had. I have an extremely difficult case of idiopathic angioedema. Over the past 1.5 years we have been trying multiple ways to treat this with varying success. She has been fighting to appeal my insurance company to approve an experimental treatment and has actually called them herself to fight for me, not just have staff do it. She is quick paced but listens to every word you say. She recommended I get an additional opinion about my case and you could tell it troubled/pained her that she hasn't been able to successfully treat this. I would recommend her to anyone and completely trust her as my doctor

My daughter was just about to have a visit and coughed because she is an Asthmatic. I was told I had to leave thats the appointment was over. As Dr. Mendelson ran out of the office. She had treated her in the past, knows her medical History, and understands it is her allergy season (by the way she is only 6). It was unprofessional and disrespectful. I understand that we are all afraid of COVID 19, but everyone in the office was covered from head to toe in protective gear. If we cannot count on our doctors to be sensible and calm at these times; then we are in bigger trouble than we thought.

My daughter and I have both been seeing Dr. Mendelsohn for many, many years. I had an allergy that she successfully treated me for, and it has never returned. I also have asthma which she has helped me to manage for more than 20 years. I trust her with my life. She is the best doctor I have ever used. Her attention to detail and her determination to offer solutions are incredible. She listens carefully and explains thoroughly. I dread the day when she decides to retire.

Good doctor but ALL about $$$$. I have brought my child to see Dr. Mendelsohn year after year for a severe allergy. This year we were late in having her retested (most allergists test every other year). Well our school papers expired and I needed paperwork to carry me through (1 week) until our next appt. doctor refused. Just wants us to come in so she can test every single year and squeeze every single dime out of insurance carriers and patients. Will never go back here.

Did not take the time to really understand condition. Sent me to others who sent me back to her. No investigative or critical thinking. I had to tell her about possible solutions. Finally I told her what tests I needed and to just do it! I would not go to her again.
