A grateful patient.
My husband is a stage 3 Colorectal survivor. He had to have 2 major surgeries in 2007, with a surgeon in Philadelphia, who specializes in colostomy sparing surgery. Dr. Gordon knows this surgeon. She took my husband as her patient, and has been one of the kindest physicians that we know. My husband was recently hospitalized for severe gastrointestinal issues, we wanted a second opinion, and Dr. Gordon has helped us find a doctor to help him. She is compassionate and caring. She treats us like her family. She knows how scared, and upset we are with his current situation. She has given us her honest opinion on his condition. I'm thankful for her and her dedication to her patients. You don't see this in physicians any more, especially surgeons. She is one in a million and my husband and I are thankful to God that we found her! I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon!

Forever grateful patient of Dr. Gordon. – Sep 13, 2023

I waited for an hour past my appointment and then the receptionist said it would be 45 more minutes before I would see the doctor. Well 5 min. before she told me, lunch arrived for the staff. Wonder if that was why I would have another 45 min. wait? Needless I didn't wait and won't be back

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Completed two visits for excruciatingly painful byproduct of hemorrhoids that have been suffering from for almost 3.5 years. I live an extremely healthy lifestyle and eat an impeccably healthy, fiber rich diet and drink at least a half gallon of water per day. Unfortunately, due to her lack of care or competency, Dr. Gordon unfortunately blamed my water and fiber intake before even learning about my every day diet. I continued to try to express how much pain I am in, but any time I communicated or answered her questions, she was so quick to interrupt me and berate me about this and even went as far as to accuse me for only being concerned about the "look of it" and my very real concern for my maintaining hygiene w/ my problem. Hygiene is only part of the problem but the more I spoke of pain, the more she raised her voice at me. I left in tears both appointments as they were extremely traumatic! Will never go back again. Her medical license should be revoked.

I met Dr. Gordon in the hospital after being diagnosed with UC. She is thorough with her patients. She is professional and makes you feel heard. She spends time with you answering your questions. Her office staff is extremely respectful and friendly. I would completely recommend her to any one. My experience with her has been a great one. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

I recently moved to Ft Worth from Oklahoma and needed a colon doctor. According to the reviews Dr Gordon is wonderful. I left seven different messages starting with “I have recently moved to the area and would like an appointment.” To “if you are not accepting new patients could someone at least call and let me know to search elsewhere.” I have Yet to hear from any of her staff. Sadly it doesn’t leave a good impression. Maybe she is a good doctor but if you can’t get anyone to help ... well .

On April 12, 2012, during my first colonoscopy, I was diagnosed as having Stage 1 Colon Cancer. I was sent to Dr. Gordon. I was very scared and anxious. From the time she walked into the examination room, she calmed my fears. She took me by the hand and told me that she would get me through this. I call her my "Angel In The White Lab Coat". Her caring and attentiveness of me, the person and patient, was excellent. She is a great person, doctor, surgeon, and Angel!!!!

After several years of pain my wife and mother helped me to make the decision to make an appointment with a colo-rectal surgeon. To me Dr. Gordon was the obvious choice. She is extremely professional and very kind. The diagnosis was quick and I was able to get the surgery within 2 days of the office visit. Her bedside manner was excellent and I felt safe with her as my surgeon. Thank you very much Dr. Gordon.

Dr. Gordon is a very compassionate, intelligent, friendly, and has a great bedside manner. Her office staff is simply amazing, friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone. She takes the time you need to ask questions, very informative, explains medical procedure and problem in detail to the patient who may or may not have any medical knowledge. I have much respect for her and what she does. It's very obvious that this is her passion. Thank you. Heather J.
