Ask for Another Physician
Didn't take the time to read prior hospital records and tests. If you want a doctor who treats medicine like throwing spaghetti at a wall a hoping it sticks, he is your physician. Likes to run a million tests even if unnecessary. Family memeber was misdiagnosed a month earlier and had gone back into the hospital and you think he would have read through his medical records. If you end up with this physician, do yourself a favor and request another one.

This doctor has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. He has no respect for his patients or their loved ones. He made the already sad experience of losing my grandfather so much worse. Novant should be ashamed to have a doctor like him working with their patients.

This doctor doesn't believe blood work is warranted unless you're symptomatic. Blood work has been a standard part of my annual physical exams for decades. CBCs, Complete Metabolic Profiles, and Lipid Panels have uncovered two issues over the years resulting in life-long prescriptions. So, I suppose patients with the same issues (hypothyroidism and high cholesterol) would have to reach a point of criticality sufficient to produce symptoms before Dr. Faulkenberry would act. What a joke!
