Dr. Lynn Kohan, MD

Following many decades of back attacks with stenosis I was searching to establish care following a recent move to Virginia. After several credentialed referrals I am pleased to find Dr. Kohan. Both she and her team provide excellent case management with compassion and positive alternatives.

I had more than one procedure with Kohan. Both times the anesthetic failed. The spinal cord stimulator implant I had with her became infected and she told me to walk more and take ibuprofen. She refused to believe it was making me sick until I went to a different facility and they said it was infected. I almost died and had to get the other facility to remove it. I wouldn't trust her with a guinea pig.

Dr. Kohan did not even introduce herself before she started speaking to me. She simultaneously lacked empathy and behaved condescendingly. Miscommunications occurred between physicians prior to my appointment, so the procedure for which I was scheduled could not be performed. She chided me for not following the pre-procedure instructions when in fact I had followed them. The entire experience was a debacle; nevertheless, i will receive and have to pay a large bill! I would not go back to her.
