Dr. Mandi Beman, MD

Dr Beman was extremely professional, and made sure an extensive medical history was taken to fully understand my symptoms. I appreciated her thorough approach to imaging and labs, and her explanation of what was necessary and why. She helped me get on the right medication at the dose. Other providers had dismissed my symptoms. It is refreshing and relieving to finally find a provider who cares about and understands women’s health. Thank you, Dr Beman for being a true advocate for women.

I always bypass my PCP for my annual to see Dr. Beman. Great surgeon-no complications, follow up and follow through on all issues. Professional warm demeanor. Attention to detail and requests. Overall I feel confident in Dr. Beman’s decision making and input which in turn makes me feel safe. I loathe the day I move or she retires.

I moved from out of state and definitely scored Dr.Beman as my gynecologist. She is the best doctor I’ve worked with & I can’t be more thankful and grateful I ended up in her care. She is very knowledgeable, caring and sympathetic especially with my health needs and condition. After my surgery with her in Feb 2024, I woke up and I just cried knowing the amount of relief she gave me and didn’t give up after couple hours like she could have. I feel like she is one of the only doctors who truly has listened to me & I’m forever thankful to be in her hands!

Dr. Beman has been my GYN for years. I've always appreciated her professionalism and willing to take the time to answer any questions I have to help make me feel more comfortable. I had been considering a laparoscopic hysterectomy for years due to large uterine fibroids and other reasons. I was naturally nervous. However, Dr. Beman explained my options and helped guide me into the right direction. Although I asked repeated questions before my procedure, she always answered them promptly and helped ease my nerves. My laparoscopic hysterectomy, which was 3 months ago went well! She and her team did a great job, no complications. They made me feel comfortable throughout the journey, from start to finish including the healing stage now. I highly recommend Dr. Beman for your gynecological care along with her team in her office. Everyone is always nice and helpful! Thank you!

Dr. Beman is an expert in her field. She provides the right amount of context, information, and options during her appointments whiling leaving time to ask as many questions as you want. She performed my total hysterectomy, and the process from consult to day of surgery was smooth (e.g., frequent communication from her and her team, pre and post surgery instructions, making sure to spend time with you before going back into OR). Additionally, post surgery, my recovery was easier than others who received the same surgery from another doctor within the past 6 months. I highly recommend Dr. Beman. She makes you feel heard, and she makes sure you walk away understanding what is going on. She and her team are more than just a care provider.

Dr. Beman has been my gynecologist for over 10 years. She is brilliant, caring, and makes you feel so comfortable. I can’t recommend her enough!

Dr. B is the best OB I’ve seen thus far she is very attentive to all needs and listens to what is going on with you! I would recommend her to any woman

I was pretty disappointed in regards to the bedside manner I received during my visit. As someone in their 20s, there are a lot of health changes happening and I really felt like I had to advocate for myself in order to understand what was going on. In addition, the entire appointment was so ridiculously rushed and she was evidently just onto the next appointment. When I received my test results, the response I received via MyChart also felt defensive after asking for a referral to the next specialist. I was overall disappointed and after coming from a family of medical professionals, I'm understanding and this was just an overall negative experience.

I called this office during a horrible episode of PMDD. Anyone who has lived with this disorder knows how debilitating and scary it can be. I was told Dr. Beman had expertise in this area and the receptionist, Elaine, said she did not and has never treated anyone for PMDD. She then said I should never have been referred to call their office and hung up. She didn’t show an ounce of empathy or compassion or kindness. She gave me zero suggestions, was nasty, callous and treated me like a nuisance and then hung up on me. I have never felt more appalled by a receptionist — a receptionist at a women’s health clinic, no less. Her lack of empathy and kindness, coupled with her rude, nasty and dismissive nature, is enough for me to recommend that prospective patients NEVER visit this clinic. Elaine, your callous and rude nature— when someone called in distress and looking for help especially—was, quite frankly, disgusting. So so disappointed.

Dr. Beman and her staff have ALL been amazing!! They are available when I have questions, and have been quick to help in an emergency situation. Thank you SO much!! :-)

There are not enough stars to award to Dr. Mandi Beman (OB/GYN) and the amazing staff at CHPG Women's Health Porter. Dr. Beman is preceptive, intelligent, and has an impressive medical pedigree. But just as important, she makes you feel relaxed, comfortable, and listened to. I had my first surgery ever with Dr. Beman, and knowing she was my surgeon made the entire experience much less stressful. Dr. Beman and the staff have been highly responsive, have answered my questions immediately, and have communicated with my health insurance company in my best interest. From the front desk receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctors---I have been consistently impressed with the genuine kindness and helpfulness from the Women's Health Porter team, especially notable since this is being recorded during the ramp-up of Covid-19.

Dr. Beman is an amazing Doctor. She really listens to everything I have to say which means a lot to me. She is always very caring and compassionate at each visit which makes it easy to talk to her about my questions and concerns. She is also extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. You can really tell she loves what she does. I have been seeing her for the last 3 years and I will not go to anyone else for my gynecologic care. I highly recommend her as a provider.

Dr. Beman performed my hysterectomy in September this year and I cannot day enough good things about her. During my initial consultation Dr. Beman took the time to listen to all my questions and discuss all my concerns. She is personable, caring and I felt very comfortable leaving her office with my surgery scheduled. The morning of my surgery I felt very at ease - she came in and spent time with me and my family and the entire process went way better than I could have hoped for and my family felt the same. Dr. Beman is very good at what she specializes in and I highly recommend her - excellent experience with my recent surgery.

Dr. Beman was/is my doctor due to a difficult case of uterine fibroids. I have never, and I do mean never, had a doctor that was so engaged, caring, knowledgeable and supportive. She would call me personally to go through her findings and feedback. She took the time to collaborate with my fertility doctor. She was always supportive and empathetic of my decisions. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a physician. I would recommend her to anyone.

Wonderful attentive and caring

I have never had such poor patient care in my life. The neglect and lack of communication is astounding. They will not return my phone calls without pestering, they determined I had a UTI days ago and sent in a prescription. Nobody told me. Nobody called. I finally called and they said the cultures were still out and they would call in two days. At this time, my prescription was ready. They left me in pain for days... even while I called and asked for help. Immediately finding a new doctor.

First visit super long wait. Once taken to a room, Dr. Beman ended up leaving me in the stirrups for 30 minutes, leaving the room 4 times to take phone calls. I felt humiliated and unimportant. She prescribed me, a medicine that listed one of it's side effects, increased chances of breast cancer; my mother had breast cancer! I filled the prescription for $65, and realized after I read all the side effects, that I couldn't take it. I called back for a referral; wouldn't give me one. STAY AWAY!

She was rude didn't help me at all. Left me alone for long periods of times, hey nurse is just as rude I'm in excruciating pain and she said she wouldn't help me then told the hospital she wouldn't see me again because i was supposed to be all happy joy joy but she felt i had an attitude for my pain. Plus she's triple booked and not accepting new patients, find a different OBGYN she is the worst ever in this world!

I would not recommend this practice to anyone! They are a complete disaster, very unprofessional, and they lost my medical records. After Dr. Beaman did a Pap I called for the records to be sent to my another doctor I was informed that they lost my test results and records. I was supposed to get a follow up call to schedule an ultrasound, no one ever called. Just this morning when I called to see if there’s any other way they could find my medical records, Molly hung up on me!

Dr Mandi Beman was referred by my primary OB doctor (Dr Susan Lee) as the surgeon to perform a needed hysterectomy due to my painful growing fibroid. Dr Beman listened carefully to my concerns & questions, never rushed. She consulted with Dr Lee & throughly reviewed previous tests & ultrasounds, then made sure I understood every step ahead. Highly knowledgeable & genuinely caring. My health issue is now resolved and both my husband & I are very grateful to Dr Lee & Dr Beman!!
