Dr. Manuel Rosado, MD

My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in July 2017. He was referred to Dr. Matar at NorthShore Oncology originally but eventually he became a patient of Dr. Rosado’s there after a year or so. Words could never describe OUR overwhelming love and gratitude for Dr. Rosado, Cesyl, Edith, Darlene, Gladys and ALL of the other staff people at NorthShore Oncology! The fact that my husband is still here in 2024 and in good health is owed totally to the outstanding care and concern he has always received from Dr. Rosado! You will never find a more compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, patient and responsive doctor than Dr. Rosado especially at such a horrendous time in your lives. My husband has not received any chemo treatments at the clinic since 2019 but he remains under Dr. Rosado’s care first and foremost for continued oncology care and all other medical needs as they might arise. He is truly the absolute BEST and we are forever grateful to have him in our lives!

Dr. Manuel Rosado is one in a million. He is an excellent Doctor and is kind and considerate. He has amazing medical knowledge and stays up to date with the latest information and testing. He shows compassion to the patient and tries to make you feel important. You always feel as you are the focal point of his attention. Few doctors have the ability to be a true patient advocate while being able to give you as much time as you need. He is one of the few Doctors that actually care about his patients. Oncology of Northshore is really wonderful. The nursing staff ais extremely caring and do their best to take care of you and your family. I would commend Darlene, Edith and Lou as they are outstanding nurses. They are a perfect complement to Dr. Rosado. This is a very difficult time in one's life and this team has made it as tolerable as humanly possible. I highly recommend Northshore if you are in need of their oncology services.

Dr Rosaso is the most caring and understanding Dr that I have used His care and professionalism are unmatched. I hiley recommend Dr. Rosado.

This is a family review, put together by the pt, whose English is limited, his wife and his children (a physician and PA). After extensive research and meeting for second opinions with lymphoma experts, we felt most comfortable with Dr Rosado’s treatment plan. His approach was aggressive but manageable for Anatoliy. But beyond what turned out to be an effective regimen at controlling his lymphoma, we have been blown away by Dr Rosado’s bedside manner. He is such a kind person as are his support staff (shout out to the awesome nurse “Lou P” who nursed Anatoliy back to health). Initially, all we cared about was his remission, and would never have prioritized bedside manner as something we needed in an oncologist. We didn’t realize we needed that til we met with Dr Rosado. We’ve had to go to the hospital for neutropenic fevers and other complications and he is remarkably quick to reply and meet us at the hospital. He goes above and beyond to coordinate with other providers. We love him.

Dr. Rosado missed my father’s diagnosis while invited for consultation to the hospital.

I became a patient of Dr. Rosado in 2011 via the ER. His approach to and treatment of my condition (ITP) was 100 percent on-target. When the condition re-appeared in 2022, I was blessed to be his patient once again. This recurrence has been more difficult to manage but my trust in my doctor is absolute. We've had some unexpected results along the way but Dr. Rosado is always prepared to address those. He has a wonderful manner with his patients, never rushes an appointment and allows as much time as I need for questions. I feel very much like a partner in managing my condition. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a physician to anyone needing a hematologist/oncologist and will be forever grateful for his care.

Dr Rosado is the best kindest Dr I have ever had. While going through my treatments I had a few panic attacks where I just wanted to quit. He took time to calm me down and let me know everything was going to be OK. Feeling blessed to have him as my dr.

I have been under the care of Dr. Manuel Rosado since May, 2018. When Dr. Rosado walked into my hospital room and introduced himself, it was one of my luckiest days. I have Stage IV colon cancer and had just undergone a colostomy. He spent a great deal of time explaining my condition to me and future treatment. I was more like a deer caught in headlights but he was very cognizant of the emotions that I was experiencing. This was the first day of what has been several years of top quality care delivered with compassion and true caring. The intellect of Dr. Rosado is amazing. One of his nurses describes him as a walking encyclopedia and rightfully so. He is well respected by his colleagues and coworkers. His supporting staff are highly skilled, considerate and compassionate. Dr. Rosado is on top of the latest developments in treatment and is never too busy to take time to answer questions and concerns. He is truly a 10 and I am thankful for his care.

Dr. Manuel Rosado is one of the best Doctors I have ever met. He is not only an excellent Doctor, but is kind and considerate to all his patients. He is one of the few Doctors that actually care about his patients. As a whole, Oncology of Northshore is great. From administrators to the wonderful nurses that take care of us. Edith, Darlene, Lou and Yeraldine are exceptional nurses. They are caring just as Dr. Rosado is. I go for bi-weekly treatments for my cancer and have done this for the past three years. They haven't missed a step to prolong my life and keep my quality of life as tolerable as possible. I just love this clinic and my Dr. Rosado and my nurses. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. They are exceptional and special people who dedicate their lives to make our lives better.
