Dr Fuchs is my favorite doctor! He has replaced both of my knees and both of my hips and repaired a rotator cuff. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to replace my joints. He has always listened to my needs and has accommodated me many times like my desire to do surgery with just a spinal or epidural with no medications! He is very good at what he does !i highly recommend him for anyone needing a knee or hip replacement!

(Former THR surgery patient & RN). I gave a 1?? because the path to surgery was smooth and quickly done, but the post op care was lacking in so many ways. Never saw my Dr after day of surgery until 2 wk appt. Left hospital with an infection, told to F/U with my PCP. Back pain and flank pain were severe post op, told it was "not a hip problem"... at every visit. He referred me to a MD in his office "for a shot". PCP sent me to urologist & neurosurgeon. All this occurred after surgery!

So rude & condescending.. dosent listen if there’s s problem.. his response “well , I hope” to all my ?’s. My knee is worse now after arthroscopic.. can’t walk & his response is”you don’t have the knee of 20 yr old”.. would not go back if he was last dr in area to do my knee

When I visited Dr. Fuchs, he was very inpatient. He spent less than 5 minutes examed my hips then left the room to check my MRI results. I waited for anlong time but he was sitting in his own office(area). I asked him what he would think and do to my hip. He said you needed a hip injection. I begged him to explain to me what caused my hip pain and I now couldn’t walk , He said I am doing my best to help you while looking at his computer. My painful experience! How he got 4.5 stars elsewhere!?

I just had a total hip replacement by Dr. Fuchs with my staples taken out today. I like that he does not rush the healing process. I wanted to ditch my walker now and he wants me to wait till Physical Therapy decides when to use cane. Surgery at Albany Medical Center went off without a hitch. Day of surgery was an easy smooth process. Dr. Fuchs surgical team is top notch. No time to get yourself worked up or nervous. Everyone on his team knew there job and how to do it! Kudos to all involved.

Have seen Dr. Fuchs in the past, every appointment but the first he belittled and doubted me. Did not even do xrays. Made appointment with Dr. Roberts of the same group for a second opinion, he immediately did xrays which showed bone on bone in both knees. Now scheduled for surgery, so sorry I put myself thru terrible pain for the last year with Dr. Fuchs. Should have switched much sooner.

I went to Dr. Fuch's for a second opinion on my left hip. He accepted my case and did a removal of all pins in my hip as they were no longer needed. A year later my hip was quite painful and an MRI was done and I had to have a total hip replacement as bone was not good at all. He was at all times, helpful, caring and concerned for my well being and recovery. Getting an app't was timely, his assistant always returned my calls in a timely manner. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

After having an extremely difficult time making an appointment. I was received In doubtful manner by the doctor. I expressed the severe pain in my knee to Dr. Fuchs and requested an MRI, which I was arrogantly dismissed. Reluctantly, I accepted his prognoses that it was just inflamation,. After continuing to be in severe pain for several more weeks, I scheduled an appointment with another doctor for a second opinion and was told that my meniscus was torn and would require surgergy.
