Best surgeon I have ever seen.
Dr Rafols is an amazing surgeon. He treats you with kindness and listen to what the patient has to say. He’s so knowledgeable and explains everything in a way the patient understands. After the first appointment, we agree to do the surgery. Unfortunately I got sick & I was admitted to the hospital. After being released, I got a call from dr.Rafols checking to see why I haven’t contact him and see if I was ok. Something I don’t see dr do. Other doctors would just forget it. In the end I was able to do my surgery with dr Rafols and I was treated so amazing. My surgery went so great that I didn’t have any pain throughout my recovery. It was like if I never did a surgery. If I ever need another surgery I will definitely go back to dr Rafols. So professional and the environment was so peaceful and relaxing.

Great surgeon and excellent physician
Early in 2023 I was diagnosed as having an abdominal mass. In March I went to see Dr. Rafols who after a thorough examination and review of all tests suggested surgery. He explained in detail the minimally-invasive procedure he would perform, what I should expect and patiently responded all my questions, making sure I understood everything. After the successful surgery, he went over the entire procedure with me and my family, and informed us that during the procedure he not only took out the abdominal mass but also discovered I had a congenital diverticulum in my small intestine so he repaired that as well. He showed us pictures on the computer and explained in detail what they represented. Once again he responded all our questions and made sure I had a follow up visit to discuss the results of the biopsy and the additional genetic test (all tests were negative). Dr. Rafols is great professional and a caring physician that radiates confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
