Terrible service
No one answers the phone lines or return calls when leave a message. I have tried reaching them for three days. I asked to send me a link or paperwork through a link before visit, I was told such option was not available. I called back, someone told me she will send it in a few, three days later after three requests still nothing. I don’t know how the experience with the Dr will be but so far it’s been a terrible experience. Why not hire someone to answer the phone or fire the person responsible to answer the phone. IT’S UNACCEPTABLE, 20 to 30 minutes hold until I hang up, no one ever answer the phone 3 days later.

This doctor is more concerned for profits than safety. He did cataract surgery at a place in Brooklyn that was grossly overcrowded. He rushed through the surgery and at the of surgery put such pressure on my eye he damaged my nerve and I can't open my eye has wide as my other eye. He had no regard for my well-being just getting in/out of the operating room in a hurry. I would say to stay clear away from this doctor. One eye took 30 min for surgery the other one that he botched took 18 min. He is a disgrace to his profession. Don't take a chance with your eyes.

I've been a patient of Dr. Wietschner for many years. He is by far the best ophthalmologist that I've ever seen, always attentive to my issues and accommodating. I always leave his office knowing that I'm under excellent care. The staff from the front desk to the technicians are amazing. It seems like everyone is always in such a pleasant mood which radiates positive energy throughout the entire visit. I enjoy coming for my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Wietschner for your eye care needs.
