Dr. Margaret A Grove, MD

Dr. Grove Is a compassionate doctor who listens, shares, and discusses situations with you in a real-life, understandable manner. I appreciate her expertise and the time she takes to hear you and offer help... which may mean she is off schedule a bit at times. I'm more than willing to offer her and her other patients that grace time. Dr. Grove is blessing.

Dr. Grove performed my c-section. Not only was her bedside manner dismissive and borderline passive aggressive (especially when I asked that she not insert her entire hand when I was trying to push out the baby) but she also ignored me when I told her the anesthesia wasn’t strong enough before she cut me open for c-section. She made the first slice and I screamed “sharp sharp sharp” and it was only then that she listened to me and put me under. My husband and I had put in our birth plan that we wanted to keep the placenta. When I was still under anesthesia she went ahead and sent the placenta off to pathology- even after my husband re-emphasized that we wanted to keep the placenta. Dr. grove is not my OB/GYN, but the doctor who was on call when I went into labor. If you are going to have a baby I would not risk the chance of having her being the doctor on call. I love my actual doctor from the same practice. It’s a shame she couldn’t deliver my baby.

I waited almost an hour past my appointment time. No apology. She didn’t introduce herself. I’ve never seen her before. Didn’t explain anything and tried to push me into a procedure i knew nothing about. Then got up and said well you’ll get your results in 2 weeks and walked out. I literally sat there alone for a good 5 minutes before just leaving. Absolutely awful. I will never see her again and will be looking for another practice.

Wait times for the appointments can be long, but Dr Grove is worth the wait. I've used her for two pregnancies, both high risk, and she was wonderful. Could not ask for a better doctor!

Wait time was horrendous. She did not offer compassionate care with my circumstances.

Dr. Grove delivered my 4th and final baby via csection at the end of 2014. She was amazing. The pregnancy was a difficult one, yet she had such an awesome bedside manner and kept me feeling at ease. I felt very comfortable seeing her in the office and was more than impressed with her in the OR.

She delivered my first baby and couldn't have ask for a better Dr. I had tried for 3 years to have this baby and it was such a special time for me and my husband. I was induced BC of low fluid and in labor for 3 days. Needless to say I was exhausted and scared but Dr Grove was my saving grace.... She is so calling and caring. I couldn't have ask for a better Dr. I thank God she was there with me and should I have another baby I hope she is there for that delivery as well!!! :)

Worst experience I've ever had with an OBGYN-wouldn"t recommend her to anyone.
