Not Good, Not At All Good
First Dr. Guthrie prescribes me a medicine without explaining thoroughly to me that it should be taken with medicine I was already taking. Instead she left me thinking this new medicine was a replacement for my current medicine. In my opinion the new medicine was substantially weaker and I believe I suffered irreparable arthritic damage. Very poor communications. Then she has her staff reschedule an appointment i had which had been on the books for six months. She had her staff put me down for an appointment a month earlier. That would have been fine except her staff didn't notify me. Apparently Ms. Guthrie was taking maternity leave. Then, when I did show up for the appointment Dr. Guthrie's head nurse refused to arrange for me to get my prior medicine re-prescribed without a face to face meeting with the doctor. Next available appointment was in 4 months. So I wound up being off my medication for probably eight months because of this doctor's poor communications.

a wonderful doctor!
I have been seeing Dr. Guthrie since 2020. I am a younger lupus patient, and that is a very hard thing to go through. Not only do I feel like my 20’s have been stolen from me, but a lot of doctors have thought I was faking it or exaggerating. Not Dr. Guthrie. She always has believed me and listened to me since day 1. She works with me and always is so sweet. If I ever need anything, she makes sure to get it for me or get me in the best she can. I can tell she truly cares for me. my husband and i are so thankful for her!!!

Very knowledgeable.
I sure miss Dr Hunt. I was his patient for many years, however , I have begin to understand Dr Guthrie and communication is better. I do think she needs to spend more time with her patients. Having said that, no one is perfect. I have recommended her to family and friends!

Broke my heart. I was hoping I had found someone to listen and help get to the bottom of what is happening to me but no. After going the extra mile to collect a co pay over the phone before a tele health call, the call was cut off because of phone issues on their end. No call back. When I called her back I was told “she really didn’t have anything else to say”. Well, I did. I’m miserable. Running fevers, nerve pain, numbness etc. I just want answers, but she is apparently too busy to help me find them. Again, heartbroken.
