Dr. Marie Leger, MD

I was referred for an emergency dermatologist consult to Metro Dermatology and was able to do a TeleMed visit. Dr. Leger and staff were very helpful in making sure this could be accomplished during the middle of Covid-19 pandemic in record time. The staff was very empathetic and proactive in assisting me with coordinating information as I supplied documents from rheumatology and wound care services. The staff was extremely professional yet compassionate. Evidently, TeleMed is not new to this practice. I note this as it indicates proactive readiness to serve patients. Dr. Leger is very thorough, knowledgeable, and analytical. Although it was TeleMed visit, it was no less than an in-person consultation. Dr. Leger encouraged dialogue, was interested in my input and I felt her collaborative method with her patient served to calm me yet let me know she was not only observing the areas of treatment, but also listening to me regarding what I was experiencing.

Awful, over an hour and a half wait. They claimed I was self-pay when I was fully insured and, as a result, made us wait almost 2 hours to be seen. No dr. Is worth this.

I'm fully satisfied with Dr. Maria Leger. She spent quality time with me. She is the first doctor who explain me why antibiotics not good for acne. she gave me options for my treatment and for long 8 years of sever acne I'm finally having changes on my skin.

She is really sweet and helped my face clear up. It looks way better than when i first came.

I was feeling very insecure about my skin recently and no other treatments were working that another doctor prescribed. Dr. Leger convinced me to try accutane and with her help I'll be seeing results very quickly

Overall, I just appreciated the kindness of the doctor as well as all of the advice and knowledge she gave me about my skin. Straight forward and fully understandable

i recently (summer 2019) saw MD Leger this was a 1st time meeting while there she told me about the V-Beam Laser procedure, it would cost me $400 & help remove/erase alot of redness in my face due to rosacea. i made a 2nd appt & was very clear to the staff member, i wanted the V-Beam & also the MD told me it would be $400 that staff member said no it's $600 angry at the MD & asked she call me back, she didn't one of her staff did & asked if i wanted to come in, in my head i'm thinking the MD should have called me back but she didn't when the staff member called me back to make that 2nd appt i'm still thinking the price was $400. I get to that 2nd appt yesterday 11SEP19 expecting the V-Beam & when i asked the MD why did you say the procedure would be $400 her reply was ""it was a guess"" i didn't need a follow up appt due to the fact nothing was wrong w/me everything was taken care in the 1st appt if i needed a followup i would have waited a full year so this 2nd appt cost me $20 copay

my mom speak spanish and sometimes i would always have to translate but with marie, she is able to talk to my mom is spanish which i am really greatfull and the clearness on my face is very noticable
