Dr. Marina Nell, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Nell’s since 2015. She is the best! She is very attentive and listens to my concerns and always gets my meds just right!! She is the BEST!!

Dr. Nell and her staff are the most professional yet understanding, empathetic Office I have ever been to. I always receive calls back in a reasonable time. They have a cancelation list and keep up with it. Dr. Nell is kind and very educated. I would never go anywhere else. I have been seeing her for 4 years.

Both my wife and I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Nell since 2016/2017, and I can honestly say that it has been life changing, in regards to my personal situation. Dr. Nell has always gone out if her way to ensure my safety and stability. She absolutely knows what she is doing and it's a pleasure to see her every quarter or so...there's no insurance coverage accepted but I gladly pay for visits with Dr Nell out of pocket. Certainly worthwhile to give her office a call.

Dr. Nell changed my life. At age 51, I was finally diagnosed with severe ADHD, something I had never considered and no other doctor, school counselor, teacher, or any other professional had ever caught. After starting the proper meds, I no longer have anxiety or depression issues. I'm successful in school for the first time (back in school at 52!). I've made new friends in a new city. I have a life that I never knew I could have. I've never been a fan of psychiatrists but I love Dr. Nell. She LISTENS and she truly cares. I highly recommend her because she makes you feel like a partner in your own health decisions rather than just another appointment on her books. Even though she doesn't take insurance, this was the best investment I've ever made in my mental health and it is priceless to me and to my family. My husband says I'm a totally different person in all the best ways. I cannot thank Dr. Nell enough for everything she's done.

I have been to my fair share of psychiatrists, and Dr Nell was the one I have needed all of these years. She is such an amazing doctor who truly cares about her patients. She is wonderful about hearing what you have to say and the issues you are going through, and then discussing all possible approaches that she feels could help. She will talk through with you which option she thinks is best and why if you are on the fence of what you think you need/want medication wise, but overall let’s you make the final decision. I can’t say enough kind things about this women! She has helped me tremendously in the time I have been seeing her, and would recommend her to anyone. Not to mention while they only have one phone line in the office, her assistant (Hallie) is ON TOP OF THINGS. She returns all calls within a timely manner, is very polite, and great about communicating all important information.

Dr. Nell is excellent. I’ve read other reviews about not being seen on time or a huge language barrier. She doesn’t just give out meds because you say so. She tries a different approach. She lets you be involved with your treatment and responds promptly to any side effects from any prescription you may be on. I think she is amazing and genuinely cares about the treatment of her patients. There is not a huge language barrier, she is from Russia so she has an accent but it’s not that bad.

Dr Nell has helped me with a life long anxiety problem when many other Dr did not , Dr Nell was a gift from God my anxiety issues were causing me many problems in my life . I just couldn't find the right Dr. . Dr Nell takes the time to listen and suggest options in a treatment plan . Office staff is pleasant also .

My fitst appt.with Dr. Nell ran 1:45 minutes behind for starters. After being called she gave me a choice to continue or to reschedule or see another psychiatrist. I continued with the visit and she recommended time off fr work (4-8)weeks. Against her advice I returned to work. Major mistake on my part. I applied for short term disability as she requested and have yet to receive one payment because she has failed to submit any paperwork. I've since had 2 more visit running past scheduled time.

Huge language barrier. Don't waste your time or money. She isn't knowledgeable and all she said for an hour was that sounds good. If you're looking for someone to not sugar coat things and know their specialty, look elsewhere
