He is a very good doctor.
He explained my problems and questions to me. He told me what I needed to do. He was very thorough and polite.

Horrible bedside manner
Horrible bedside manner. He rushes, is abrupt, impatient, won't make eye contact and doesn't explain, very poor communication. He injected a patient's eye, tossed the needle in the direction of the sharps container and it landed on the floor and he rushed out. Not sure how talented he is as a doctor with diagnoses and treatments. But his patient approach says a 1000 words.

I came to Dr. Fleckner with a detachment in my left eye which rendered me sightless. He performed surgery that day and restored my vision. His follow up care was excellent as well. Dr. Fleckner is truly am amzing retinal specialist. I will be forever grateful for the care I received from him and his staff.

Dr. Fleckner may be a very talented specialist, but he has all the compassion of a fast-food cattle rancher. He runs his well-tuned practice like a conveyor belt; rather deferring to his assistant to briefly —at best— explain what it was that he just whisked in to do...the man should be wearing a cape. But the fact remains; if he's the guy plunging two-inch needles into the eyes of his 90-year-old patients, he should at least have the poise and common courtesy to offer explanation and reassurance to the entire procedure—especially when the patient is experiencing an adverse result. I saw this first hand, and when my mom had concerns regarding the side-effects of a drug he administered for the second time, his only explanation—as he was already stretching for the door was, "maybe it's a coincidence." I'll tell you what is not a coincidence: that following this hasty experience did I immediately find a new ophthalmologist to care for my mom.

It was a poor introduction to this office. Staff was decent doctor a little abrupt and non concerning. Very disappointed. Never even came in to ask if I had any questions or concerns. Didn’t even come in at the end of the visit. Will never go again.

I made an appointment with Dr. Fleckner because I developed blurry vision. He provided an accurate diagnosis and treatment for what turned out to be a retina problem. The early diagnosis and treatment may have saved my sight.

Dr.Fleckner showed no compassion or instrest when seen. He is is impatient when questions are asked and does not go into detail. Your feel as though you are an irritant to him with every question you ask or for every minute he has to spend with you. The entire time he makes you feel uncomfortable. The results of my surgery were terrible which added to it all. I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

A comprehensive exam but then no discussion. No compassion when i said no to accept treatment of a needle in my eye. Told staff member to explain my insurance options if i changed my mind then walked off. No explanation from him on the procedure or possible complications. Office is an assembly line - his money machine. So many people i had to stand in the waiting room with several others. Staff is friendly helpful.

Have to deal with about 7 people during the course of any one visit which makes the experience feel like a conveyor belt. And no questions allowed along the way. Some of the staff are pretty nice but the front desk not so much. Apathy prevails. Fleckner is good doc with good equipment. That's why trek all this way
