I have been dealing with mctd for some time now and have seen 3 different doctors trying to find out what was wrong. Dr. Hulsey is the only one who listened and put me through all of the tests to figure out what was wrong and start proper treatment. He listens, he does everything to find answers and he actually cares!! He is stuck with me until he retires!! Do yourself a favor and see him before anyone else!

I see Dr Hulsey for MCTD. He is the most knowledgeable practioner to treat my ever changing symptoms. I like Dr Hulsey because he listens to me and keeps me up to date about new tests and treatments that help maintain my autoimmune disease from going off balance.

In the twelve years that I have been his patient, I have realized that, although this doctor is very knowledgeable, there is a complete lack of compassion and connection, and an inability to consider the needs and feelings of the patient, and their inclusion in the treatment process. After twelve years, I consider this statement to be true and precise.

Have gone to see him twice now per a referral from my primary care doctor. He’s still not done bloodwork or xrays. Still no idea of what’s wrong yet I continue to have joint pain everywhere. Keep being told if it gets worse then come back. That’s what I was told at my previous visit too. I’m going to ask for a referral to a different rheumatologist. This is ridiculous.

Dr. Hulsey takes the time to listen to all your concerns and gives you options for treatment. You never feel like he is in a hurry to get you out of the room. He promptly reports all your lab reports, even if it’s an evening or weekend. I feel confident that Dr. Hulsey is giving me excellent care for my lupus.

Dr. Hulsey is very caring, thoughtful and determined. He has been my rheumatologist for nearly 9 years. He is always very concerned about my well being but determined to not do something rash. He is fluent in different treatment programs and research around RA. He has always given me ample time to discuss the variety of concerns that I have. Great physician.

I've only went to him a few times, but he is the best Rheumatologist I have found. I've been to many trying to seek answers and he's the only one that actually gives a dang and sits down to talk with me and go over treatments etc. My insurance dropped him last year and as soon as my new insurance hit I went straight back to him! He's the only one I have been happy with. He's truly in it for his patients.

I was sent to this doctor by my primary doctor to find out about my extreme joint and muscle pain. Dr. Hulsey told me he didn't know why my doctor sent me here. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. This website says he treats fibromyalgia but I assure you he doesn't. He did not run any tests nor did he treat me in anyway. But they made sure they got my money upfront. Don't waste your time with this one.

We all search for doctors who actually care about us. It;s not easy. Dr. Hulsey is one of these doctors. Thorough, empathetic, knowledgable, kind, detailed, friendly, a straight shooter, . . . I could go on. If you're looking for a great rheumatologist, you've found him. I'm just hoping he doesn't retire anytime soon.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hulsey's for six years. He is thorough, asks questions, and seeks to find the best option for relief for the patient. His staff have always been friendly and my appointments have been on time within 5 to 10 minutes of arrival. I would recommend him if you are looking for someone who is serious about what they do, and concerned with your quality of life.

It was just my 1st visit, so I do not have any answers yet but he spent an hour with me and was more thorough than I could have asked for. He asked a ton of questions and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was taking too much time. I felt that he really cared and wants to get to the bottom of whatever is causing my pain.
